A New Spider In Town
I noticed a new spider popping up here recently and thought i would bring it to the admins attention:

hxxp://brandimensions.com

Doesnt look very ConCen friendly, so maybe it might be a good idea to block them?

Their "about us" on their site seems very anti-p2p.

It seems they were very interested on the subject of ilicit drugs. :suspicious:

NameProtect.com also got banned, then I thought fuck it, I got the forum to treat
ALL bots as "banned members".

No more google.... we're truly underground now. They'll still show as online
but can only see what a banned member sees.... sweet fuck all.

I believe brothers that you are doing a wonderful job here on Concen. My time is short so i'll be brief, then a new day will dawn...Don't FUCK with OZ no matter what mask he chooses to wear and yes this is all a game.
And the original song still remains the same... conquers ALL

I'll observe from here on out Ohh and I AM the original TROLL

I just got on and address 72.36.206.202 was blocked 12 times.

PeerGuard says Layered Technologies.. I see it on various other site page loads.

Google for 72.36.206.202

The only result

Server Type: Apache/1.3.36 (Unix) mod_fastcgi/2.4.2 mod_auth_passthrough/1.8 mod_log_bytes/1.2 mod_bwlimited/1.4 PHP/4.4.2 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635.SR1.2 mod_ssl/2.8.27 OpenSSL/0.9.7a
(Spry.com also uses Apache)
IP Address: 72.36.206.202 [Whois] [Reverse-Ip] [Ping] [DNS Lookup] [Traceroute]
IP Location: United States - Layered Technologies Inc

Running Apache the free server, guess its hard to sell servers these days for Microsoft,
Netscape and IBM ( gone from PCs and servers?).

It must be an ad server. PG will bloc government sites which can be unblocked if you
find it useful. Some one posted an image from a gov site, I just saw the blank space keeper.

Another strange one i saw snooping around here today : cobion.com

From http://searchenginewatch.com/showPage.html?page=2163241

Quote:Cobion is another new company that has launched image scanning services. These are being primarily targeted at those with brand protection needs. Coupled with Cobion's web crawling, it's designed to help ferret out unauthorized use of logos and other trademarked symbols. Cobion's technology is also being positioned as a filtering tool. For example, it could help detect pornographic images on pages that are pretending to be about innocent topics. Finally, Cobion is also available as a regular image search engine. In contrast to Ereo and LookThatUp.com, Cobion is also attempting to extract any words it finds within images, rather than primarily sticking to pattern recognition.

Well the only image they'll see as a "guest" (how bots are treated) is April's concen logo.
