If you can't get the sun exposure you need, make sure when you buy supplemental Vitamin D, you read the supplement facts on the back, and make sure that the source is cholcaliferol. This is D3, the same form that your body converts sunlight into, and is far more effective than ergocalciferol. Unfortunately for vegans, the sources of d3 all come from animals - either fish liver oil or lanolin. ergocaliciferol is always plant-based, and is better than nothing.

and, regardless of what our banned friend might say, doctors have now said that it's advantageous to take as much as 2000iu/D3/day, sometimes even more, particularly in menopausal and post-menopausal women. you can't take as much ergocalciferol without worrying about toxicity. suggest 600iu max.

Vitamin D was really good for our body. It can help our bone become strong and the thing that I am doing to have this, was drinking milk. Hope you guys, are also eating foods and drinking liquids, which contained this substance.
