A hillbilly's crazy ramblings on Genesis
I haven't posted this anywhere but have shared it with a few people.

First---my lengthy disclaimer

<span style="color:LimeGreen"> After spending a full 18 months devoted to the study of Genesis, my husband has been after me to put my notes in a more organized form. We were blessed to have a teacher who read & spoke both Hebrew & Greek & had a better than average understanding of Aramaic. Sam is his name & Sam is presently going blind due to diabetes & had to move away from us in order to be closer to better doctors & hospitals. I wish I had him to call upon here, but I guess it is time to bite the bullet & do this myself. Both Sam & my hubby have faith in me.

Ok, I will be using the New King James for Scriptural references here for easier understanding of Scripture, but these ideas & thoughts have come from using several different translations as well as my notes from Sam’s class. The thoughts & ideas I am about to present are being presented as theory, but I happen to believe that this could be a very plausible theory. So do quite a few others & that is why I have been encouraged to present this. But I will fully admit to being labeled ‘heretic’ & ‘blasphemer’; the former being a great compliment & the latter makes me laugh, I find it silly.

I have no ‘formal’ education & I do think this gives me somewhat of an advantage cuz my mind isn’t cluttered by socially accepted & taken for granted teachings. I would appreciate any critique & feedback from an editorial viewpoint & from a Scriptural point of view as well. This is hardly the Adam & Eve apple story as most of us have been fed
.

<span style="color:Red">Genesis 1:1,2 In the beginning God created the heavens & the earth. The earth was without form and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

Now take a look at this verse as it is more correctly translated from the original Hebrew:

<span style="color:green">In the beginning Eloheem created the heavens & the earth. The earth became without form & void; and misery, death, & destruction was on the face of the deep. And the Breath of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

God here is in Hebrew Eloheem which denotes God in creation & God, His Wisdom & His Word (Jesus) & the Spirit.

The original Hebrew word that this first ‘was’ was translated from was hayah meaning ‘became’. The earth was already created & it became without form & void. It became chaos.

Original Hebrew text calls ‘darkness’ cawshank meaning misery, death, destruction, hid, hide, ignorance, sorrow, wickedness, obscurity, & withholding light. All this was on the face of the deep.

The Spirit of God is, in Hebrew Oroakh meaning‘breath, life, word, wind, water, truth’ & in Greek the word in ‘Pneuma’, the root of pneumonia, pneumatic, etc. This signifies the end of the this first flood.

<span style="color:Red">II Peter 3:5-7 For this they willingly forget: that by the Word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water, by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same Word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Jeremiah 4:23-28 I beheld the earth, and indeed it was [hayah=became] without form, and void; And behold, the heavens, they had no light. I beheld the mountains, and indeed they trembled, And the hills moved back and forth. I beheld, and indeed there was no man [Heb-Nepsesh=soulfe], And all the birds of heaven had fled. I beheld, and indeed the fruitful land was a wilderness, And all of its cities were broken down At the presence of the Lord, by His fierce anger. For thus says the Lord: The whole land shall be desolate; Yet I will not make a full end. For this shall the earth mourn, And the heavens above be black, Because I have spoken. I have purposed and will not relent, nor will I turn back from it.

This tells me that the earth was already formed & in existence. There were even cities in the old world (can we say Atlantis perhaps?). This tells me that there was a flood before the great Biblical Noah event; that the world that existed then was completely flooded; that no life was to be found anywhere over the ‘face of the deep’. This is in stark contrast to the Noah story. The world that existed then is now called the 1st earth age. We are currently living towards then end of the 2nd earth age.

Now let’s go back further than that, before the 1st earth age. Ezekiel 28 gives us a clear description of satan in this letter from God to satan:

<span style="color:Red">Ezekiel 28:11-19
…You were the seal of perfection, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering: The sardius, topaz and diamond, Beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes was prepared for you on the day you were created. You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; you were on the holy mountain of God; you walked back & forth in the midst of fiery stones. You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, Till iniquity was found in you. By the abundance of your trading you became filled with violence within, and you sinned; Therefore I cast you out as a profane thing out of the mountain of God; And I destroyed you, O covering cherub from the midst of the fiery stones. Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; you corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendour; I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings, that they might gaze at you. You defiled your sanctuaries by the multitude of your iniquities, by the iniquity of your trading; therefore I brought fire form your midst; It devoured you, and I turned you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all who saw you. All who knew you among the peoples are astonished at you; you have become a horror, and shall be no more forever.

Vanity was the original sin & Lucifer was actually good before iniquity was found within him. He set himself up to be like God or as a god & he is the only one who is already judged out of all the beings God has created. Lucifer was the cherub that guarded the throne of God Himself & God loved Lucifer! God loved him enough to adorn him with the most beautiful precious stones & to give him an unequaled voice. Since I do believe that God knows everything, I think God must haver known that Lucifer would fall. Since God knows everything & God created everything, it stands to reason that God created Lucifer on purpose knowing that Lucifer would take on characteristics of everything God wanted to remove from Himself…….but I’ll get more into that in a little bit.

<span style="color:Red">Gen 1:3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.

Not the sun, nor stars nor moon. God said “Light”. The Glory of the Lord is Light; Jesus Christ is Light.

<span style="color:Red">Genesis 1:6 Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

The word firmament in Hebrew is [pronounced] Rawkeeshaw & this is a visible arch of the sky from horizon to horizon. Clouds full of water. This division of the waters was on the second day.

Dry land appeared on the 2nd day & then

<span style="color:Red">Gen1:11-13 Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth.”; and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that is was good. So the evening and the morning were the third day.

I really wanted to note here that NO fruit tree was forbidden. No forbidden fruit. Fruit trees are a good thing!

<span style="color:red">Genesis 1:14 Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years.

These are the stars; the moon & sun are not yet created til verse 16. The days God mentions is the very beginning of measuring time using a solar means. Day = Light in more ways than one & so does night = darkness.

<span style="color:red">Psalms 147:4 He counts the number of the stars; He calls them by name. Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; his understanding is infinite.

Job 38:7 When the morning stars sang together, And all the sons of God shouted for joy.

God created the stars to be signs. He gave them their original names. Please check out my thread on the Bible and the Zodiac for deeper explanations into this. The sons of God as described in the above verse from Job, are angels.

<span style="color:red">Genesis 1:21 So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

Tanreem is the Hebrew word for these great sea creatures. Tanreem means monsters or even whales.

<span style="color:red">Genesis 1: 26-31 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”. So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, over every living thing that moves on the earth.” And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. Also to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food.”; and it was so. Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

When God said “Let Us”, the word ‘Us’ is also in Hebrew Eloheem, thus placing Jesus there at the creation of man.. Man is adam with lower case intended here; adam means mankind. I believe that God created the races on this 6th day. He gave them dominion over the birds, fish, green herbs & fruit trees, over every thing that creeps on the earth. But something is yet missing. Chapter 2 describes this very well. I’ll get to that in a moment. The word ‘seed’ here is zera in Hebrew which means ‘descendant’. ‘Fill the earth’ is in Hebrew, mala, meaning ‘replenish’ & this gives even more credence to the 1st earth age theory. The word ‘tree’ here is very important. Tree in Hebrew is ett, meaning edible, that these were created for us to survive. Let’s keep this in mind as we delve into chapter 2 of Genesis.

A hillbilly's crazy ramblings on Genesis
<span style="color:red">Genesis 2:1-6 Thus the heavens and the earth and all the host of them, were finished. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made. This is the story of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens, before any plant of the field was in the earth and before any herb of the field had grown. For the Lord God had not caused it to rain on the earth, and there was no man to till the ground; but a mist went up from the earth and watered the whole face of the ground.

Ok, now here where things start getting real interesting! God lets us know that after His 6th day of creating, He is ready to rest and He blesses the 7th day. This was a subterranean world, a world without rain. A world with different people of different skin tones and different human characteristics. A world where these people were given dominion over the birds, the fish, the bushes & wild herbs & fruit trees. This world was not yet complete though for there was no man –In Hebrew Ethaadham & meaning the word Adam; of the Adahamic race. There was no man to till God’s earth. To grow crops & plants of the field.

<span style="color:red">Genesis 2:7-9 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being. The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man who He had formed. And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasing to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in the midst of the garden and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Now I take this 2nd chapter of Genesis to be more literal than most. I believe all this happened on the 8th day. God created male and female humans on the 6th day & gave them dominion over everything except the soil of the earth He had created. Some translations start off the 2nd chapter of Genesis with the word ‘Then’. I believe it to be taken that way. ‘And the Lord God formed man’ The word is Ethaadaham in Hebrew. The Lord God created Ethaadaham & blew nefish (soul) into him. There is NO mention of God breathing the soul into the males & females He created on the 6th day. This is for a reason. Something else to note here is that in Hebrew, changing articles (a, an, the) can change the meaning of the words surrounding entirely. When God took ‘the man’, in Hebrew is more correctly THE man, Ethaadaham. This is not one of the races previously created on the 6th day. The Adahamic race was unique; they were to be the caretakers of God’s own garden, planters & tillers of the soil. They also happened to be the predecessors to God’s own Son, Jesus the Christ. Also important in this last set of verses is the word ‘tree’. As stated previously, the Hebrew word is ett meaning edible. This is true in the first 2 times ‘tree’ is mentioned here. However the 3rd time ‘tree’ is mentioned (The tree of knowledge of good and evil), the word ‘tree’ is originally in Hebrew awtesaw, meaning ‘a limbed being’ and it has a masculine root in the aw-tesh-aw pronunciation. Sounds to me like God placed satan in the garden for a reason.

<span style="color:red">Genesis 2:15-17 Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it. And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.

‘Of every ett of the garden you may freely eat; but of the awtesaw of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat. Adam’s job was to tend God’s garden, not to have domain over the earth; that job was already being done by the races.

<span style="color:red">Genesis 2:18-20 And the Lord God said, “It is not god that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.” Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name. So Adam gave them names to all cattle, to birds of the air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him.

To me this says that yes, the Lord had formed the critters, but he brought them together in front of Adam for the purpose of finding him a helper, but none was to be found. Sam was of the opinion that this is when domestic animals were created.

<span style="color:red">Genesis 2:21-25 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. And Adam said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of Man.” Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and they were not ashamed.

The first females created on the 6th day were not created this way. It does not say how they were created, but this was Eve & Eve was the only woman to have come from Adam in this way. It didn’t happen before & it hasn’t happened since. The word ‘rib’ is in Hebrew Tesaylaw meaning ‘the curve, the arch’. God took the curve out of man.

A hillbilly's crazy ramblings on Genesis
<span style="color:red">Genesis 3:1
Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has not God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree in the garden’?”

First & foremost here is the word ‘serpent’. It seems to be universally accepted that the ‘serpent’ is a snake. I strongly suggest that those who are really interested ask an Orthodox Jewish rabbi what their creation story is; this ‘serpent’ is definitely not a snake.
The word serpent in Hebrew is ‘Nacaash’ (& the spelling does vary some) and carries the meaning ‘glistening one’, ‘enchantment’, ‘the brightness. In Greek the word is ‘Derkomai’ and means ‘to fascinate’; this is also the root of the word dragon. The word serpent is a figure of speech here; snakes don’t talk.

<span style="color:red">Genesis 3:2-3
And woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, “You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’”

In Hebrew, they say it like it is; in 99% of modern (1500-present) English Christian translations a lot of the Hebrew nuances are lost. The word ‘tree’ in Hebrew—literally ‘tree’ is ‘Ett’ or ‘Etts’ plural. The first time the word trees is mentioned here, that is exactly what is being said---Etts. The second time the word tree is said, the Hebrew word is ‘Awtesaw’ meaning a ‘beautiful limbed being’. Could this be satan & perhaps one of his demons? It could be. But I choose to think that the serpent is satan as the seroent is the one who ends up being cursed by God. Here, also is the first time a human added to or altered the word of God. Eve added ‘nor shall you touch it’ to God’s original instructions. The word touch here is, in Hebrew, ‘Naga’ which means ‘to lie with a woman’. Another example of the word ‘touch’ replacing the word ‘naga’ appears when Lot’s daughters seduced him; they ‘touched’ him.

So let me rephrase these verses to read a bit more correctly—
Now the glistening one was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has not God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?” And the woman said to the glistening one, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; but of the Awteshaw which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, “You shall not eat it, nor shall you lie with it sexually, lest you die.’”

On to Verse 4 & 5

<span style="color:red">Genesis 3:4-5
Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

It is clearly shown here how satan speaks in lies and contradicts or changes the word of God to suit his selfish purposes here. Subtle, smooth talking, & telling Eve what she wants to hear; satan has been extremely deceptive since the beginning. It is made clear to us through these verses that satan is also in the garden. It is all part of God’s plan.

<span style="color:red">Genesis 3:6
So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that is was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and are. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.

This was the first seduction. Eve was seduced by the enchanting one and then shared that with Adam. This verse is all about deception. Through the sly ways of the great deceiver’s helper, he enabled her to look at Awteshaw in a new light. He instilled in her a desire to taste that fruit of the fascinating glistening limbed being & she in turn shared that with Adam.

<span style="color:red">Genesis 3:7
Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked: and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.

Adam & Eve already knew they were naked. It was what they had done with their nakedness. They remembered God’s command to not partake of satan. This verse is also the beginning of the parable of the fig tree, which I will get into later on. Adam & Eve covered their loins. If indeed it had been an apple or any other fruit, they would have covered their mouths.

<span style="color:red">Genesis 3:8-10
And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. Then the Lord God called to Adam, “Where are you?” So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.”

‘They heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden’. Wow! God was actually present in human form? Yes He was! He spent time in the garden He had created. I’m sure it broke His heart knowing what was going to happen there. His call to Adam is the same as His call to us today—“Where are you?” Adam & Eve knew they had crossed the line & so they hid, afraid. Adam telling God that he was afraid because he KNEW his nakedness, he knew what he had doen with it was exactly what God had told him not to do.

<span style="color:red">Genesis 3:11-13
And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?” Then the man said, “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate. And the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.

Adam & Eve do not lie to God here. But they do show an all too human tendency to shift blame. Adam is blaming God for giving him the woman and also blaming the woman herself. Eve blames the glistening one. The word ‘deceived’ is in Hebrew ‘Nasha’ and in Greek it’s ‘Expadio’. Both of these mean ‘wholly seduced’ and ‘beguiled’. Yes, indeed they were wholly seduced & beguiled.

<span style="color:red">Genesis 3:14, 15
So the Lord God said to the serpent:
“Because you have done this, you are more cursed than all cattle, and more than any beast of the field; on your belly you shall go, and you shall eat dust all the days of your life. And I will put enmity between your seed and the woman. And between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.”

What we see here is God actually cursing the serpent and the serpent’s seed til the end of time. Is the serpent now a snake? Perhaps. They are not listed as original animals created, but then again, neither are turtles or alligators or frogs. I believe that when God cursed the serpent and sent Adam & Eve out of the garden, God let loose all kinds of nasty critters. Mosquitoes, flies, scorpions, spiders, bugs, snakes, & other poisonous critters, in my opinion, did not exist until the serpent was sent forth upon the earth. This is also the time when carnivores began hunting non-carnivorous critters. Before this time food was plentiful & critters were docile. There was no hard labor as a man would go & hunt for his family’s dinner; the critters knew it was their part to feed man—that was their job. Until the serpent was cursed & sent forth; with the serpents curse, the entire earth was cursed.

Also interesting to note is the intentional capitalization of the word Seed coming from woman. God has great plans for woman & her Seed, but it is to me very interesting that the serpent as well has a seed that is sent forth into the world. Chapter 4 shows very clearly exactly what happened to the seed that was impregnated in Eve by the serpent.

<span style="color:red">Genesis 3:16
To the woman He said, “I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; in pain you shall bring forth children; your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.

This verse makes me wonder if conception could have taken place without physical contact before they messed up so terribly. How nice would it be to give birth without pain! Feminists rally over the last part of this verse ‘and he shall rule over you’. I honestly have no problem with it. Women are hormonal & moody. We are very different creatures than men, we are wired differently. I happily gave myself to my husband in marriage and yes his word is law in our house. But this is just the ramblings of a crazy hillbilly. Is this perhaps when God first mandated monogamy?

<span style="color:red">Genesis 3:17-19
Then to Adam He said, “Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you saying, ‘You shall not eat of it’:
Cursed is the ground for your sake; in toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life. Both thorns & thistles it shall bring forth for you, and you shall eat of the bread of the field. In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread til you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for dust you are, and to dust you shall return.”

So there were no thorns or thistles before this time. The earth itself was cursed.

But God’s first admonition was directed towards Adam listening to his wife & not heeding God. It is because of this he was cursed to toil the earth and this to me say ‘to farm’. To plow & reap & sow is a constant theme brought up throughout the Bible & this is the beginning of that. In Chapter 2 we saw how God made Adam to tend the earth (as opposed to the wild critters). Now God has cursed Adam to work the earth, not out of a love for it, but for food to feed his wife. To take responsibility to take care of his wife & offspring, to have to work hard against obstacles to do so; that was God’s curse.

<span style="color:red">Genesis 3:20-22
And Adam called his wife’s name Eve because she was the mother of all living. Also for Adam and his wife the Lord God made tunics of skin, and clothed them. Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”—

Til this point, the earth was lightly populated with a variety of races, but the Adamic race had the light of God, hence ‘all living’. The Light of all who ‘live’ came down through the Seed of woman, through Eve. This is spiritual life we are talking about here.

When God made tunics for them, this was the first shedding of blood of any creature & God did it Himself.

<span style="color:red">Genesis 3:23, 24 —therefore the lord God sent him out of the garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken. So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way to guard the tree of life.

Not only did God have to send them out, He had to drive them out of the garden of Eden. The outside world must have looked very scary indeed. God cleaned up His garden & set His loyal creations to guard it continually. Chapter 4 is one of my favorites & I’m excited about getting it done!

A hillbilly's crazy ramblings on Genesis
<span style="color:Red">Genesis 4:1,2 Now Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain, and said, “I have acquired a man from the Lord.” Then she bore again, this time his brother Abel. Now Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

The word ‘knew’ here carries the same meaning as when Lot’s daughters ‘knew’ him. It means they had relations or sexual intercourse. Of course translators of the day were not going to come right out & say that. But this is what this means. When Eve bore again here, the word in Hebrew is yacaph which means to continue in labor. Eve bore twins, but these twins had different biological fathers.

<span style="color:Red">Genesis 4:3-5 And in the process of time it came to pass that Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to the Lord. Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat. And the Lord respected Abel and his offering, but He did not respect Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell.

Cain’s offering here was just any old thing that was growing. God had as much regard for Cain as Cain did for God. The same with Abel. God had much regard for Abel because Abel had much regard for God. The word countenance here is in Hebrew awneem meaning ‘his face fell’.

<span style="color:Red">Genesis 4:6-8 So God said to Cain, “Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.” Now Cain talked with Abel his brother; and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him.

These verses tell me that God knew Cain came from an evil seed. This is the first premeditated murder in this 2nd earth age. A blood offering is much more desirable than a fruit offering, but at least Cain could have offered the first fruits or fruits in abundance. God warns Cain not to give in, knowing he will be unable to. All part of His great plan to send His Son.

<span style="color:Red">Genesis 4:9-12 Then the Lord said to Cain, “Where is Abel your brother?” He said, “I do not know. Am I my brother’s keeper?” And He said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to me from the ground. So now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand. When you till the ground, it shall no longer yield its strength to you. A fugitive and a vagabond you shall be on the earth.

Cain outright lied to God. Cain showed is lack of respect for God already, but this must have been like a smack in the face to God who created this world for His children to enjoy. So God cursed Cain. God could have taken Cain’s life, but He chose not to do so for to take Cain’s life would have altered history drastically. Cain’s descendants play key roles at critical times in history as we shall discover as we move through this study. Suffice it to say that Cain’s death did not suit God’s ultimate purpose. Cain is now ‘Kahyn’ meaning ‘unable to grow things, be fruitful or productive; a vagabond & fugitive; nomads.

<span style="color:Red">Genesis 4:13-15 And Cain said to the Lord, “My punishment is greater than I can bear! Surely You have driven me out this day from the face of the ground; I shall be hidden from Your face; I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond on the earth and it will happen that anyone who finds me will kill me.” And the Lord said to him, “Therefore, whoever kills Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold.” And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest anyone finding him should kill him.

This is the very first mark of the beast that is expounded upon further in Revelation 13:18. This man Cain is satan’s own son & as is marked as such. I have tried researching how Cain may have been marked to no avail. But we can all hear the desperation in Cain’s plea to God. Interesting to me here is how Cain is so worried about other people finding him & killing him. If Adam & Eve were the only humans around, it would stand to reason that there are no other people. Yet Cain is worried about other people. Hmmmm. Perhaps these other people were the people of the races who were created on the sixth day.

<span style="color:Red">Genesis 4:16-17 Then Cain went out from the presence of the Lord and dwelt in the land of Nod on the east of Eden. And Cain knew his wife, and she conceived and bore Enoch. And he built a city, and called the city after the name of his son—Enoch.

Since the land won’t produce for Cain & his offspring, they build cities. So according to this Scripture, there were people dwelling in the land to the east of Eden, Nod. This is where Cain’s wife came from. I wonder what race she was. I really don’t know here.

<span style="color:Red">Genesis 4:18-22 To Enoch was born Irad; and Irad begot Mehujael, and Mehujael begot Methushael, and Methushael begot Lamech. Then Lamech took for himself two wives: the name of one was Adah, and the name of the second one was Zillah. And Adah bore Jabal. He was the father of those who dwell in tents and have livestock. His brother’s name was Jubal. He was the father of all those who play the harp and the flute. And as for Zillah, she also bore Tubal-Cain, and instructor of every craftsman in bronze and iron. And the sister of Tubal-Cain was Naamah.

Notice how the names in Cain’s descendants are so close to those of Seth. Satan has always been the copycat, wanting to ‘be like’ God. Cain has his own line of descendants which indicates that he is not of Adam (who has his own line through Seth). This details how Cain’s descendants are NOT farmers. They are builders of cities, musicians, metal workers, but not farmers. Being a tiller of the earth was very important to God. Oh & Jabal & Jubal are where we get the word jubilee from.

<span style="color:Red">Genesis 4:23, 24 Then Lamech said to his wives: “Adah and Zillah, hear my voice; Wives of Lamech, listen to my speech! For I have killed a man for wounding me, even a young man for hurting me. If Cain should be avenged sevenfold, then Lamech seventyfold.”

Why should a son of Cain show any humility whatsoever? Who is this Lamech who dares to proclaim how he should be avenged? This is the Lamech who bore the Tubal-Cain the freemasons of today idolize. Lamech is not saying he has done these things (killing a man), but rather that he CAN & WILL do these things. He has no respect for God & also no fear.

<span style="color:Red">Genesis 4:25, 26 And Adam knew his wife again, and she bore a son and named him Seth, “For God has appointed another seed for me instead of Abel, whom Cain ahs killed.” And as for Seth, to him also a son was born; and he named him Enosh. Then men began to call on the name of the Lord.

Eve didn’t claim Cain to be her son. Abel was her son & Seth was her son, but not Cain. Chapter 5 is mostly geneaology, but I’m gonna post it anyways sooner or later lol!

Genesis Chapter 5
<span style="color:Red">This is the book of the genealogy of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God. He created them male and female, and blessed them and called them Mankind in the day they were created.

And Adam lived one hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth. After he begot Seth, the days of Adam were eight hundred years; and he had sons and daughters. So all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; and he died.

Seth lived one hundred and five years and begot Enosh. After he begot Enosh, Seth lived eight hundred and seven years, and had sons and daughters. So all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years; and he died.

Enosh lived ninety years and begot Cainan. After he begot Cainan, Enosh lived eight hundred and fifteen years, and had sons and daughters. So all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years; and he died.

Cainan lived seventy years, and begot Mahalalel. After he begot Mahalalel, Cainan lived eight hundred and forty years, and had sons and saughters. So all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years; and he died.

Mahalalel lived sixty-five years, and begot Jared. After he begot Jared, Mahalalel lived eight hundred and thirty years, and had sons and daughters. So all the days of Mahalalel were eight hundred and ninety-five years; and he died.

Jared lived one hundred and sixty-two years, and begot Enoch. After he begot Enoch, Jared lived eight hundred years, and had sons and daughters. So all the days of Jared were nine hundred and sixty two years; and he died.

Enoch lived sixty-five years, and begot Methuselah. After he begot Methuselah, Enoch walked with God three hundred years, and had sons and daughters. So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. And Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.

Methuselah lived one hundred and eighty-seven years, and begot Lamech. After he begot Lamech, Methuselah lived seven hundred and eighty two years, and had sons and daughters. So all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred and sixty-nine years; and he died.

Lamech lived one hundred and eighty-two years, and had a son. And he called his name Noah, saying, “This one will comfort us concerning our work and the toil of our hands, because of the ground which the Lord has cursed.” After he begot Noah, Lamech lived five hundred and ninety-five years, and had sons and daughters. So all the days of Lamech were seven hundred and seventy-seven years; and he died.

And Noah was five hundred years old, and Noah begot Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

A few things to note about Chapter 5---

The Word is very clear about calling this line—the line of Seth—as Adam’s genealogy, not Cain’s. They are very separate for a reason. The boys come from different seeds.

Genealogy was & is very important to God. This is a direct line straight to Jesus & following this through the Bible does indeed prove that. I know a lady who is trying to fit it all onto one sheet of paper. If she ever finishes, I’ll scan & post it. I think I have some myself…I need to clean out my pictures!

Verse 29 here speaks of the ground which the Lord has cursed. This tells me that the whole earth was cursed. Mosquitoes, flies, & chiggers; thorns, briars, weeds….these just did not exist until the earth was cursed as a result of the actions of Adam, Eve, & the serpent.

The flood story is coming up & I'm so excited! ;D
But this is all I've done thus far.........

A hillbilly's crazy ramblings on Genesis
Quote:In the beginning Eloheem created the heavens & the earth. The earth became without form & void; and misery, death, & destruction was on the face of the deep. And the Breath of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

Does this mean you believe in a pre-Adamic race, and an "Earth" that existed before this one ? I do.

anyways, if only people used your method, it would be so much easier : search out the words in the Bible for their meaning.

Quote:These are the stars; the moon & sun are not yet created til verse 16. The days God mentions is the very beginning of measuring time using a solar means. Day = Light in more ways than one & so does night = darkness.
Does this mean there were no stars for the pre-Adamic race to see ? I heard a theory that God only re-lit, re-lightened the stars.

Quote:‘Fill the earth’ is in Hebrew, mala, meaning ‘replenish’ & this gives even more credence to the 1st earth age theory.
well not really, it can also mean "to fill". No point in trying to find weak arguments to support a previous race.

maw-lay', maw-law'
A primitive root, to fill or (intransitively) be full of, in a wide application (literally and figuratively): - accomplish, confirm, + consecrate, be at an end, be expired, be fenced, fill, fulfil, (be, become, X draw, give in, go) fully (-ly, -ly set, tale), [over-] flow, fulness, furnish, gather (selves, together), presume, replenish, satisfy, set, space, take a [hand-] full, + have wholly.

Quote:Man is adam with lower case intended here; adam means mankind. I believe that God created the races on this 6th day.
Now where did you got this idea from ? You went on taking everything literal, just as stated in the Bible, but then, you suddenly decided that ADAM is a figurative person, that it merely represents the human race. What about Eve ? Does she represent the animal kingdom or something ? lol

Quote:A world with different people of different skin tones and different human characteristics.
Where do you see MORE THAN TWO PERSONS in this chapter ? I don't.

Was this your theory you were talking about ?

Here's why i think your version doesn't make sense.

Basically you`re saying the" man and female" from Chapter 1 are different from Adam and Eve that were created in Chapter 2.
I think, in Chapter 2, God only explains to us how he did it in detail, and much more. Like an expansion to the 1-st chapter. Not necessarily a chronological follow up, as we are used to. Actually the Bible is not written according to time, but according to how the Spirit of God dictates.

I hope we agree that both, man and female, Adam and Eve, if indeed different from each other, are humans, or homo-sapiens.

Did God create the female just like He created the man also ? Instantly ? or were these two created in an order, 1-st the man, then the woman ?

here's why im asking this

Adam was, at 1-st, lonely. Only later did God made Eve for him, out of HIS RIB. If God created these "man and woman" at 1-st, why didn't he instantly created an Eve for Adam also ? Isn't that illogical ?

It's like God watches an experiment for the 1-st time, He`s watching man for the 1-st time. If this "man and woman" were created before Adam and Eve, why all the trouble with the rib ? Why not create Eve and Adam at the same time ?

Quote:I believe all this happened on the 8th day.

HOW can that POSSIBLY be ? God said He RESTED FROM ALL THE WORK HE HAS DONE on the 7-th day. Why would he WORK again on the 8-th ?

Quote:And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.
Matthew 7:14
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
