Religion / Worshipping Symbols / like father like son ?
Quote:horseonwheels, thanks for the info on that. I admittantly have little knowledge on many groups I see mentioned on the board, this being one term, gnostic.
thread on gnosticism - might bring a little enlightenment (or add to confusion)

Quote:- Do Christians by having crosses break there own moral code?

How could they ?
Wearing a cross around your neck or having it as an amulet or tatoo, spiritually speaking, is as useless as trying to climb mount Everest to find God in the clouds.

However, the Bible doesnt go against that ; with those symbols Christians can detect one another and form a relationship, become friends etc. its usefull, in a way.
Matthew 7:14
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Quote:-Does Y'shua equate to "God the father" , or was he a mere man who
attained [through whatever method] the conceptual notion that God is in all ?

I think it is important to know what each of us includes in "äll", in that question.
All humans?
or
All life?

If everthing isn't included in "all" , then you would need to take liberty over anything that you don't include in "all"... -----> an authority is created. Authority then deals out Liberty (now capitalized) to you, to take something which is not of you. If you feel like all life is included in "äll", you are taking from, and giving back to yourself.

The former has the potential to destroy everything that they don't feel they are a part of, using Liberty granted by created authority. The latter maintains to be respectful to everything that is.

Quote:- Do Christians by having crosses and other examples of graven imagery break there own moral code?

If you look at "God" as if it is a noun, like it is some thing (he, she) outside of you, you will cling to all kinds of symbology, or other nouns.

Quote:- why do you care what I believe? [ty Ctrl]
iow in the case of sharing a basic understanding, and having similar [anti NWO-control] goals,
why would one care for how the other believes or conceptualizes "God" and by what means?

peace

I care about what people DON'T include in "all".
