I guess your smarter then the Lord b8, or maybe that perspective is your stumbling block, comment of the couple posts i presented at the beginning of this page, the bible is more then what you think, or have allowed yourself to see.

BTW a lot of what you show can be considered within a time line, that is, because of this, this is so. Were not talking about the same day or a static word.

I don't recall claiming to be smarter than anyone inc. I also don't appreciate you putting that on me. However, I do realize that you are entitled to your opinion. I will not take that away from you.

You seem quite judgmental of others and show that in how you seem to judge me with this reply. And yeah, by saying this, I realize I am being judgmental myself. Perhaps the ability to admit that to yourself might possibly be your stumbling block? But, you're the only one who can decide that one for yourself. [IMHO]

I don't intend to get caught up in further debate on this subject, I simply wanted to post a resource for you and others to consider. I'll leave it at that. Peace.

The crisis of modern democracy is a profound one. Free elections, a free press and an independent judiciary mean little when the free market has reduced them to commodities available on sale to the highest bidder.

The era of manufacturing consent has given way to the era of manufacturing news. Soon media newsrooms will drop the pretense, and start hiring theater directors instead of journalists.

The structure of capitalism is flawed. The motor that powers it cannot but vastly increase the disparity between the poor and the rich globally and within countries as well. Parecon is a brave argument for replacing that flawed machine and offers a much needed -- more equitable, democratic, participatory -- alternative economic vision.

Dr. Hermann Oberth who pioneered rocket design for the German Reich during World War II and later advanced rocket technology for the American manned space launches, cryptically stated: "We cannot take the credit for our record advancement in certain scientific fields alone; we have been helped."

When asked by whom, he replied: "The people of other worlds."

Spiritual understanding is an individual experience, and all religions attempt to take that experience away from people and impose a collective hive mentality on people. Religions are inventions of man as a method to separate individuals from their spiritual nature. The religious texts were written by inspired people, but are always turned to use as political tools. Who wrote the Bible? God? Nope. Men. Who decided which books made it into the Bible and which ones didn't? God? Nope. The Catholic church, and although I'm new around here I'm sure there's some dirt on them posted here. So whenever someone starts saying they know the truth that's right for everyone v. his/her truth, I think about this guy.

Waxzy, science is what led me to the Bible, i saw a fundamental governing force within chemistry, biology, one in which we are purposely led against and hidden from. I say your understanding of both science and the bible are lacking and would debate any ideas you have, im not gonna preach to your arrogance tho, the Lord resist the proud.

Melchor, what of inspiration, is it limited to man, if that were so, man be god? Or is there an order that permeates the universe, seen in everything, which has a voice, and is beyond man in his evil machinations, in contrar to the ego, i would say you an atheist, the most gullible of beliefs, if not you show no regard for the providence of Spirit.
