Just a warning, I am no photographer. So this is about the quality I contribute.

I decided to bump this thread to see if I could still attach images. I didn't think I posted this one yet. I know it's the same area I take a lot of pics of but the colors are so nice. I remember this night. It was an amazing sunset. There was a column of light that extended up from the sun as it set. You can see it a little in the pick but in RL it was amazing.

I'll add a few... no really great shots, but some great scenery.

I recently bought a 8MP Canon Powershot xs 1000 and until now the only pics I took were 640x480.

I was a bit curious what things would look like with all gazzilion pixels.

I just shot these today... stuck in Revelstoke BC all weekend until I can get a re-load out of here Monday morning so I can head home.
It's a pretty little town for sure...

I got a new special effects lens a few months ago. It does amazing macro stuff. I'll upload a few more. Thanks for bumping this. I forgot about this thread.

thanks for showing the 'real life' stuff people!

this morning it's -18 degrees outside, and there is a foot of snow.... so i probably won't be taking the camera out.
but these photos are from two weeks ago. Nothin special, just some REAL LIFE stuff! cheers.

RE: The Photography Thread: 56k beware!
I only found out about this thread recently (cheers April), and as I have been rushing in and out to make uploads due to moving home I thought now would be a good time to start posting some pics. As we have a move coming, and it's to a much more scenic area, I will start with some older pics and work my way up to the present in future posts!

The following are from between 1 and 3 years ago and were all taken with pretty poor cameras (I've recently acquired a much better one second hand and so actually have focus control now).

During a visit to a relative in hospital...this scene caught my eye, that is Gloucester Cathedral in the distance, with the spire towering in the air. Hopefully I will get some closer photo's in 2012 when I visit family. Also the same place I was born, and I love the area.

My lad and I love going out for walks.

Our son. This was last summer in one of the many rivers in the area. He went through a phase of really liking sticks. This began as a paddle, until he decided to dip his bottom in, found it amusing, and continued to dip himself down, which looked so funny, until he slipped and was soaked. I do have a few sequence shots of it that I may put up as a gif.

Machynlleth train station, closer to the area we are about to move to. This was taken the afternoon after a Damian Marley & Nas gig in Birmingham, with three good friends (and fellow concen members).

These following two are up on the Cader Idris mountain range, close to where we live:
