USDA PROPOSES RULE UNDERMINING ORGANICS AND SMALL FARMS
The USDA is accepting public comments until December 3 on a new proposed rule that would force small farms growing green leafy vegetables, such as spinach and lettuce, to put into place industrial-style sterilization measures that reduce biodiversity and soil fertility. The proposal follows in the wake of the USDA's recent controversial crackdown on raw almonds, continued interference with raw milk production, and bans on the sale of locally produced organic meat directly to consumers.

The proposed rules basically cover up the fact that e-coli 0157H contamination in lettuce and spinach crops comes from feedlot or industrial livestock-contaminated irrigation waters or contamination in large processing plants. The rule limits hedgerows, and other non-crop vegetation commonly found on and around small organic and sustainable farms. In addition, although every organic farmer knows that healthy soil is literally alive with multiple types of healthy bacteria, the rules also discourage the development of beneficial microbial life in the soil.

When that e-coli spinach happened awhile back and they blamed it on cattle that had wandered into the field.
I thought of NAIS (death to many small farmers), yes, I thought this will give them a better reason to chip and track the animals, of course it's really just to fine people, control the food supply and sell chips.
But haven't we used manure as fertilzer for ages with no adverse effects ?
They blame the cattle, yet don't mention the toxic sludge aka biosolids, the human waste mixed with toxins they spray all over the mass produced crops these days as fertilzer.

Around here we heard a Mexican farm worked took a relief in the field. Weird how they change a story. I think your right on the chipped animals, it will get people more use to chips. They have been on an agenda lately to vaccinate all animals lately. Wonder where that's going?

My wife and I use primarily but cow manure, only other things is ashes and compost. Grows a great garden. Spiders and Praying Mantis are our crowd control for pests and hoeing manually and hand pulling weeds after the till.

So one crapping mexican was supposed to cause the whole e-coli out break

I think the bio-solids are a much more plausible explanation

I think your right. The crap they want used to grow food we don't even use on the enemy in times of war. I think it's a way to replace small private farms with large corporate farms producing food no better than posion.
