Quote:She said it was decribing 90% of my personality
This list more or less describes about 25-40% of population. It is nothing special or "Indigo" about it. It perfectly describes introverted human type (if you forget health problems):

Quote:Introversion is "the state of or tendency toward being wholly or predominantly concerned with and interested in one's own mental life".[2] Introverts tend to be quiet, low-key, deliberate, and relatively non-engaged in social situations. They take pleasure in solitary activities such as reading, writing, drawing, watching movies, listening to music, inventing, and designing. An introverted person is likely to enjoy time spent alone and find less reward in time spent with large groups of people (although they may enjoy one-to-one or one-to-few interactions with close friends). They prefer to concentrate on a single activity at a time and like to observe situations before they participate.[4]

Introversion is not the same as shyness, though introverts may also be shy. Introverts choose solitary over social activities by preference, whereas shy people avoid social encounters out of fear. [5]

An introvert is energized when alone. Introverts tend to "fade" when with people and can easily become overstimulated with too many others around. Introverts tend to think before speaking. When given the chance, an introvert will sit alone and think rather than talk with someone else.

One day Chuang Tzu and a friend were walking by a river. &Look at the fish
swimming about,& said Chuang Tzu, &They are really enjoying themselves.&

&You are not a fish,& replied the friend, &So you can't truly know that they
are enjoying themselves.&

&You are not me,& said Chuang Tzu. &So how do you know that I do not
know that the fish are enjoying themselves?&

Purported characteristics of Indigo children include:

* They are often labeled with the psychiatric diagnoses of Attention Deficit with Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and also Autism.
* They are highly sensitive, both emotionally and physically, and most suffer from a low self-esteem.
* Many have nervous system problems such as excessive anxiety, which is claimed to be linked to their higher vibrational frequency, and are also prone to depression.
* They often suffer from sleeping problems, such as insomnia, frequent nightmares, night terrors and sleep paralysis.
* They are very empathic, and can easily detect or are in tune with the thoughts of others.
* They have great intuitive power.
* They often have an insatiable curiosity, and love to ask questions as well as questioning everything around them.
* They are naturally drawn to matters concerning mysteries, spirituality, the paranormal and the occult.
* They oppose unquestioned authority and have a proclivity for generating their own solutions to problems and holding to explanations which are usually contradictory to convention.
* They become anti-social when not around other Indigo Children.
* They act and feel as with a strong sense of entitlement.
* They have a clear sense of self-definition and in knowing who they are.
* Most of them feel the need to make a significant difference in the world, and they believe or are fully aware of having a special or high purpose in life.

Critics have pointed out that most of these traits are not unique, and are observable in most children.

souns like a description of me.

11 out of these 13 characteristics I clearly have. The anti-social thing and the first one I have to think about a bit. Probably anti-social also describes my character. Anyway, what does it mean? Maybe nothing.

From same wikipedia article as mentioned above.

Some observers point out that rather than being a new step in human evolution, the Indigo phenomena may be the reaction of children watching television shows with an emphasis on magic and New Age-compatible language. In a Dallas Observer article discussing indigo children, a reporter recorded the following interaction between a man who worked with indigo children, and a purported indigo child:

Are you an indigo?" he asked Dusk. The boy looked at him shyly and nodded. "I'm an avatar," Dusk said. "I can recognize the four elements of earth, wind, water and fire. The next avatar won't come for 100 years." The man seemed impressed.[9]

Readers of the Dallas Observer wrote to inform the editor that Dusk may have been drawing on the Nickelodeon children's show Avatar: The Last Airbender, a highly rated show featuring a twelve-year-old boy who is the reincarnation of the Avatar Spirit, has the power to manipulate (or "bend") earth, wind, water and fire, and was frozen in suspended animation for 100 years. These similarities were not noted within the article, and the editor of the Dallas Observer later admitted they were not aware of the possible connection until several readers brought it to their attention.[13]

Seems this indigo stuff is related to new age. Great. This means that the indigo child is an illuminist invention. Probably they introduced this in order to get people ready for the transformation of the human race, which is coming soon. With this I mean transformation of humans into better slaves by genetic engineering and implanting of micro-chips.

I recommend checking out that 'Indigo Evolution' video out. Some of it is cheesy new agey fluff stuff, but there is also some very inspirational good things to be taken from it as well. Maybe just take from it what you relate with and what will empower you in your life and then leave behind what you don't like about it or feel doesn't work with your ideas, thoughts, beliefs. Remember, you have choice.

Word!
Not seems, it actually IS a newage invention. Sadly newage pollutes the people with most potential, spiritual ones and actually bounds them with chains, because they are dangerous. Yes, it's intent is to enslave, spiritually.

Anything related to New Age since as these Indigo, crystal whatever kids is a fraud. I will check it out to see what king of nonsense they are selling us. Anyway, New Age is the religion of the age of aquarius, so I better get used to it.
