In addition to trip reports, those sites have all kinds of info about the sources for the active ingredient, n,n-DMT. Technically, ayahuasca is the name for the South American brew made from 2 different plants. One contains the DMT and the other contains an MAOI to extend the journey of DMT.

My First Trip.

Around 6 PM I boiled down 5 grams of Syrian rue seeds with a half cup of lime juice with 3 cups of water until I boiled it down to what looked and smelled like piss

After that i just split up an unknown about of mimosa,threw it in a pot with 3 cups of water and boiled it down until it looked like dark blood.

My Mother came in while it was boiling so I just said i was making tea and she didnt suspect anything.

threw both of the liquids in separate jars and threw em in my closet

Around 7 PM my friend and sitter Nick came in to spend the night.

We played tony hawks underground until about 11 PM where my parents were asleep and any food i had eaten in the previous hours was out and safe to use MAOI's


I opened my closet and attempted to chug the rue...SHIT was that bad
i managed to take 2 gulps of it and poured it out

I was hit with nausea..not that bad though
I told my friend Nick to go play Portal or Team Fortress 2 on my pc and i layed down for about 10 minutes.
I got up and told Nick its time
I grabbed the mimosa and drank it over a span of 15 minutes
Boy my body was like WTF STOP DRINKING THIS STUFF ITS GROSS
after drinking it i went and layed down
I told my friend nick to turn off the lights and go back to playing Portal
about 20 minutes into it I was hit with nausea..luckily I know how to fix this
from all my robotripping days,ITS BETTER OUT THEN IN

I ran to my bathroom and threw up 3 times of brown stuff,only problem is i was deep into hallucinations
by the time i was finishing cleaning up my mouth
I just layed down on my bathroom and watched shapes and patterens and the usualy crap your seen on drugs nothing to big

I managed to crawl back to my room,it felt like there was a huge weight on me

I just layed on my floor and managed to blurt out to nick
"I....tripping....hard..man"
"Ok,you need anything"
"...."
"hey alex need anything??
I couldnt understand him I was so deep into the trip
The room was flashing colors and my friend nick looked like a gorilla
"dude you look like a monkey"
"uh ok bro"
"hey man could you turn on the fan"

I looked at the fan and all I saw was a uge morphing spider spinning around
"NICK TURN IT OFF MAN"

"TURN IT OFF!"

Then I was hit with what appeared to be my subconscious talking to me
or my spiirt,i have no idea i was so lost in my mind
I felt like i was in a different world
I told nick to throw me my journal after slurring and rambling about thingsI no longer remember
I managed to scribble down

So for the next 30 minutes I layed on the ground as my mimosa was dying out
I felt a good rue high which is empathy pretty much after that
I blurted out I LOVE EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE to my friend nick who was watching something on animal
planet about monkeys strangely
and I pretty much passed out

Woke up feeling good

Hopefully I can find some LSD/or shrooms around here to try,and maybe make some freebase DMT

I've never taken Ayuhausca but I have smoked dmt resin..does that count?
the most memorable things I remember from last time I did that which is over a year and some now were how fast I was instantly high as fook. Intense - like wild intense bionic vision intense geometric sprawls coming off everything and was everything - a bit like the patterns produced from colliding particles in LIGO but with a very definite structured geometry - a feeling of like things being really ancient but stretching and squeezing in time - hard to explain in words - physically feeling really high like atomised - but i had that with other "drugs" too - and for a little while when i would try to speak it was if the words would fall in layers and like each word,or slurred attempt at them was in or of it's own time but i could kinda tangibley perceive them togehter in each as there own sort of place of time.
Overall, really suprisingly strong and it grabs you really quickly..which can be intense. Very bizarre - of course - and definitely worth it.

I was dumb in that there was no sitter but there were a few of us taking hits in turns after intervals where the person before seemed to be back in the room again.

That inner self you were talking about, theres a lot of pychics and out-of-body experienced people that talk about this. They say it can give them unusual powers and it answers all sorts of questions about you. This stuff is nuts, I want to experience it lol.
