Marijuana Reform Questions Once Again Popular In White House Online Poll
Just because the DEA is violating State Laws thru bully totalitarian tactics doesn't give the FEDS the final say-so on if hemp is legal or not. The States make the laws and as an extension, the FEDS must represent the wishes of the people as expressed in those States laws. The FEDs are acting in a rogue fashion violating laws. This does not give Obama any say-so whatsoever. This means that the FEDS are corrupt. Medical pot is legal in 14 States and more are on the way. Some states also have made it legal to grow industrial hemp. According to the US Constitution, the FEDs must respect the laws of these states. If the FEDS act in opposition to properly passed laws in the States legislature, that means that the FEDs are overstepping their bounds as laid out in the 10th amendment and should be prosecuted according to law.
As long as the States have enacted these laws, the FEDs can keep raiding and illegally confiscating crops and equipment without end. Those illegal acts don't change the fact that they are raiding perfectly legal operations and those raids will not change that legality. It will only create a growing rift between State and Federal governments.
