Vaticangate! OK maybe not, looks like this is too early to tell on this one. Christianity needs to be discredited in order to bring in the new global religion of green, some guru or aliens. So we are left with a flimsy article and our analysis. I'll go broad and lapse in and out of topic on this one.
.. and on the 8th day He created the bank of Vatican Inc and every man woman and child withdrew the fiat currency until their pockets were full and everyone was wealthy beyond their wildest dreams. But the novelty soon wore off as everyone had their pockets stuffed but no one would honour their worthless paper for exchange of goods and services as there was much sadness in the land.
.. on the 9th day all people woke up and realized the great fallacy of money and it was nothing more than worthless paper that was used as the chains that shackled them to slavery and tempted humanity to do deeds against their moral will in exchange for this 'reward'. So they swore on that day that they would never worship or pay heed to the false idol ever again and thus declared their true freedom.
The vatican is a distant cry from representing true Catholics and they know this deep down. There is corruption on the upper echelons (at least some of it by infiltrators IMO) but strong Catholic teaching and values hold deep moral merit, like all of the larger religions at the core, if interpreted correctly. Religion has been hijacked for political and monetary gain since its inceptions.
I claim no alliance to any religion only to my God to which I have a uncorrupted relationship with no temple, no middle men and no fees only divine love, wisdom and a deeply infinite and intimate connection with everything that is was and ever shall be.

The Bank of the Vatican has been accused of laundering USD 200 million by proxy through an Italian creditor, a report indicates.
The allegation of the Vatican bank's financial corruption has been made by an Italian magazine that pointed to the financial institute's purported involvement in stealth fiscal transactions —via several accounts —with Italy's UniCredit Bank, Russia Today television network quoted the Panorama magazine as reporting.
“This corruption is continuing on a regular basis in the Vatican,” claimed Janathan Levy, a lawyer familiar with the bank.
“Again, there's no reason for a religion to have a bank that does worldwide commercial activities, dealing in gold, dealing in insurance, dealing in property and then hiding behind the Roman Catholic Church," Levy pointed out.
“I had the privilege to walk inside this bank. It's nothing like a bank,” the Russian news channel quoted another lawyer, Massimiliano Gabrieli, as saying.
“If you go there you deposit or withdraw money without limit, without any kind of receipt for the bank and for the client. All you have is a single card with a number,” he stated.
The British London Telegraph, has recently ranked the Bank of the Vatican ahead of the Bahamas, Switzerland and Liechtenstein in banking secrecy.
The Vatican has denied all charges.
