"The study was conducted by a team of experts in genetics, forensics, imaging and pathology, led by Dr. Melba S. Ketchum of Nacogdoches, TX. In response to recent interest in the study, Dr. Ketchum can confirm that her team has sequenced 3 complete Sasquatch nuclear genomes and determined the species is a human hybrid."

Below is an interview with Dr. Melba S. Ketchum from of Nacogdoches, TX from 24 December 2012.

She sounds like an East Texas Good 'ol Girl to me, honest, to-the-point, unpretentious.

Interesting points.

- She was a skeptic but now believes in Bigfoot.
- She wishes she had never become involved in this case.
- She believes people should stop hunting Bigfoots because tests show they are are hominids, not apes.
- She employed blind testing, sending samples to many university labs without telling them what they were testing.
- She has received the most hatred from the "Bigfoot Community".
- She was accosted by "well-known alternative researchers" who tried to unethically involve her in money-making projects against her wishes.

Unfortunatly I too was excited as any Bigfoot Fan. It has recently been announced the "Bigfoot Steak" she had tested is Bear and Human. It was a bear steak handled by the owner. So non-human makes sense. But Bigfoot it is not.

Her website I linked to back in November is gone. Probably they exceeded bandwidth.

If anyone sees her paper when it's published, please post here.

I don't follow Bigfoot stuff. I always thought it was implausible, but I would enjoy reading her paper.
