Net Neutrality is a farce to get a forward looking government more control over upstart ISPs that are set to rise once corporations lose market share after implementing a draconian internet. Net neutrality is the introduction of more regulation over an industry already heavily, and selectively subsidized by government. Regulation, at least by the governments in place, will only further leverage the government's favoured telecommunications companies - past, present and future. They are doing it by playing on the fear of corporate control like what had happened through the cable TV market. Innovation of people beat them to the punch, it caught on too quickly for them to erect their barricades to stunt the flow of information. Now they are trying to use this fear of the cable model internet and exploit that to get both feet firmly planted in the industry, like TV, via the trojan horse of Net Neutrality.

The government has never saved us from anything, and anything they give us originally comes from us.
