How about you on this issue?

Rick Steves European Christmas premiered on PBS stations across the country during 2005 Christmas/holiday season during their December fund raising drive. The companion to the series was online bookstores and in bookstores as well at the time. Well, I asked and got the book for Christmas, but had to wait until this past spring for the dvd at regular price.

Well, it was definetly a good special and wish they went to the rest of Europe instead of the main countries, but of course they can't. I definetly want to Christmas or other holiday, if you or your aren't family not christian. Then, celebrate my birthday with my fraternal twin sister and our parents, but somehow my father rather stay here. Which I don't why he rather spend Christmas in this country (not sure about Canada or Central or South America or Africa or Asia or Down Under), then go over there where it is still celebrated the same way as when it started. Who knows when I will finally go there the winter holidays and with whom? <!--fontc-->

I can't fault him on not going anywhere on Christmas, I don't. We have those that come here, but other than feed the cows, goats, llamas and other animals I don't leave the house. The only day I do that. Celebrate means different things I guess, for me a celebration may just be that peaceful meditation or family that comes here. The peace inside. Also by not going out I am not forcing someone else to work so that they can have if they want, that same celebration. Christian has little to do with Christmas these days, unless you count the new and improved Christian. Those are the ones that have stopped by when I am working on Sunday in the field to tell me I am doing wrong. Usually when I ask where they are going it's out to eat. Then I always say so it's ok for you to force someone else to work and serve you as long as you don't work yourself?

I didn't care much for it with Satan Clause when I was at UPS for 24 years, don't mind it now again. I like a lot of the songs and the tree (yea I now it's Pagan). The only bad I can find in it is that we just appoint one day to be nice, then it's back to the dog eat dog crap the other 364.4 days.
