PayPass RFID Credit Cards

I recently received my new Canadian Tire Options MasterCard (my old one expires in Nov). I must activate within 30 days. They are not offering the old type of card.

Has anybody here heard of who still offers the old type of card (not possible to be entirely of the grid)?

If you can't get an old style card, then how can this feature be disabled?

An EMP pulse to fry the electronics will disable it permanently, if strong enough.
To keep it so that it is still functional, you'll need to keep it in foil or another material to contain the RF transmissions.

One good thing is that if you're broke and a bit of a hacker/techie, you could probably ape some rich persons frequency and buy shit on their card.
