Barak: No halt to Gaza holocaust

Barak declared on Monday that Israeli military forces "is acting and will continue to act against Hamas, within the Gaza Strip."

Barak claimed that Hamas "is responsible for everything that happens in the area around Gaza".

Israel has formerly declined to accept the conditions set for a ceasefire between Hamas and the regime, accusing the resistance movement of playing for time.

Hamas, however, says any truce agreement should include the West Bank as well as the Gaza Strip. It also demands that the blockade on the costal strip be lifted.
