Quote:I read what you said about the effects of DMT feeling like you have been poisoned and I am extremely interested to hear more, do you really feel it is a poison? Can you elaborate? Perhaps I should start another thread for this?

I guess it still fals somewhat under this forum category. When i say poisoned i dont mean in a negative way, but rather that sensations in my body makes it perfectly clear that im under the influence of a poision, and that it is this poison fucking with me.

For Dmt, the sensation keep strong with me during the whole experience, i have not tried to loose complete sense of my body on any other poison than datura. Mind you, i have only tried the smoking approach and as such its a very powerfull 15 minutes ride. Perhaps using it in brews such as ayahuaska feels differently, i couldnt tell you, never tried it.

Ayahausca is a head bender - in a constructive way - the inhibitors make a hugely diffrerent experience due to lengthening of the dmt time. my own personal take on it, is that it is good.

Tbh, even though I had one I was always with too much trepidation to get a dose out of the Datura plant. I would want lab scales n shit..

If you guys haven't heard of James Arthur, I suggest you check him out.
He was an ethnomycologist that knew a lot about how the Mushroom cult dominated a lot the ancient world.
He talks about the Amanita muscaria and the effects DMT has on you.
http://www.jamesarthur.yage.net/ja.html

He 'commited suicide' while in prison in 2003. He also did a lecture called Mushrooms and Mankind which you can watch here.

WTF? I was a fan of that guy.

Another truth dispenser gets taken down. Why am I surprised?

BTW, I've always had tremendous fun on psylocibin-based mushrooms. My body immediately treats it like a poison. I get nauseous for about 20 minutes, then I sweat like a bastard for ~ 3 hours while having a blast (even if I puke). Almost nobody else I've done it with has had that reaction...

... must be my yeti metabolism ...
