Vatican: It's OK to believe in aliens
Uh oh! Someone must be on their way here! Christians are waiting for Jesus, Jews are waiting for Moshiach, so who the are the Catholics waiting for.....:drunk:
http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D9...;show_article=1 Quote:VATICAN CITY (AP) - The Vatican's chief astronomer says that believing in aliens does not contradict faith in God. One reason the war against racism (and sexism) cannot be won is that once a group is admitted to the club of &being white,& or being allowed, in the case of sexism, to use &the flawed white male model,& it already has learned all too well how to play the role of being superior to those still remaining outside those exclusive clubs. The real problem is that the illicit rewards, both tangible and intangible, in a racist and/or sexist society are so enormous that there is hardly any incentive to do otherwise.& |

RCC is slowly becomming very advanced church. The acceptance of evolution theory, science in general, and now alien life possibility is really a good sign, I agree.
One day Chuang Tzu and a friend were walking by a river. &Look at the fish swimming about,& said Chuang Tzu, &They are really enjoying themselves.& &You are not a fish,& replied the friend, &So you can't truly know that they are enjoying themselves.& &You are not me,& said Chuang Tzu. &So how do you know that I do not know that the fish are enjoying themselves?& |

well, we're still talking about it's "ok" to merely "believe".

Keep in mind that the Jesuits have always been a big part of the RCC, and that the RCC is a church within a church. They practice elitism, and always have. They have an outer church for the dumb unwashed, and an inner church for the enlightened administrators...

Vatican: It's OK to believe in aliens
You know I was thinking the other day that the Vatican fucked up with this theory. Well I was thinking that if Jesus Christ is the son of GOD then what about all the other universes and all the other planets and solar systems? Does GOD have like a son or rep on every other planet with solar system?
 In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal. As a reputed atheist, the reverential nature of his film was surprising, but Pasolini himself said &If you know that I am an unbeliever, then you know me better than I do myself. I may be an unbeliever, but I am an unbeliever who has a nostalgia for a belief.&

Vatican: It's OK to believe in aliens
it's probably because the Jesuits have visited the alien homeworld and converted the aliens to catholicism. :kneel:

Quote:Keep in mind that the Jesuits have always been a big part of the RCC, and that the RCC is a church within a church. They practice elitism, and always have. They have an outer church for the dumb unwashed, and an inner church for the enlightened administrators...Agreed.... First they recently have aligned themselves with Freemasonry, so as to win over as many freemasons to their pychopathic and megalomaniacal Corporation of human Exploitation fronting as an Institution of God. Then they embrace Darwin (of all people) so as to gain some common ground with the atheist crowd - woooot?!?!! yeah that's right.... With this latest stunt they now seem to seek the sympathy from all the many space-alien fans, freaks and believers out there. Indeed, the Roman Catholic Church is the Mother of all Harlots who will twist, turn and bend over backwards to gain new converts using whatever slutty Propaganda or Hype that is of utility to her - fuck morals and ethics, the end justifies the means the rest is but window dressing to her. Time sure a changing, and they can use the sword to convert people less and less nowadays so they have to resort to more subtle means such as enticement through propaganda and disinformation... Vatican: It's OK to believe in aliens
well technically, Jesus is an alien
Jesus answered, "My kingdom doesn't belong to this world. If my kingdom belonged to this world, my followers would fight to keep me from being handed over to the Jews. My kingdom doesn't have its origin on earth." (GOD'S WORDTranslation) Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm." (NAS) Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence. (KJV) &Alice laughed, &There's no use trying,& she said: &one can't believe impossible things.& &I daresay you haven't had much practice,& said the Queen. &When I was your age I always did it for half-an-hour a day. Why, I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.& - Lewis Carroll &Things are seldom as they seem ... Skim milk masquerades as cream.& - Gilbert and Sullivan (Pinafore) At NASA, it really is rocket science, and the decision makers really are rocket scientists. But a body of research that is getting more and more attention points to the ways that smart people working collectively can be dumber than the sum of their parts. .. Irwin Janis? &Groupthink:& is a mode of thinking that people engage in when they are deeply involved in a cohesive in-group, when the members' striving for unanimity override realistic appraisals ? It is the triumph of concurrence over good sense, and authority over expertise.& -John Schwartz & Matthew L. Wade |
