Plot to kill Barack Obama: Three 'white supremacists' arrested

CBS4, a Denver radio station, reported that one of the suspects told authorities they were “going to shoot Obama from a high vantage point using a ... rifle ... sighted at 750 yards". When one of the suspects "was directly asked if they had come to Denver to kill Obama", a CBS4 source said, “he responded in the affirmative".

Fox News reported that the three men might have links to Sons of Silence, an outlaw motorcycle group, and white supremacists.

Authorities said that the three people has been arrested on firearms and drug charges.

Two rifles, one with a telescopic sight, walkie-talkies, a bulletproof vest, licenses in the names of other people and methamphetamine were found in a truck that was stopped on Sunday morning. One of the rifles was listed as stolen from Kansas.

Tharin Gartrell, 28, was in the rented pick-up truck when he was pulled over in Aurora, a Denver suburb, for driving in an erratic manner.

Police then went to the Cherry Creek Hotel in Denver, about four miles from Invesco Field, to pursue Shawn Robert Adolph, 33, who was already wanted on numerous warrants.

Adolph jumped out of a sixth floor hotel window, breaking an ankle, and was arrested. Police sources said he was wearing a swastika and is suspected of having ties to white supremacist organisations.

A third man, Nathan Johnson, 32, an associate of Gartrell and Adolph, was also arrested and is said to have told police that the two men "planned to kill Barack Obama at his acceptance speech". Natasha Gromek, Johnson’s girlfriend, was arrested on a drugs charge.

The Secret Service, FBI and the US Joint Terrorism Task Force are all investigating the alleged plot.

Troy Eid, a US Attorney sought to play down the incident. “We’re absolutely confident there is no credible threat to the candidate, the Democratic National Convention, or the people of Colorado,” he said in a statement.

A US government official said: “It’s premature to say that it was a valid threat or that these folks have the ability to carry it out.”

He added: “It could also turn out that these were nothing but a bunch of knuckleheads, meth-heads.”

Well think about it...could be a form of conditioning, not that they havent already tried.
If Obama were to get X'd out, it'd probably wind up being Clinton or Biden...not that things would be better either way.
But im sure you could see the implications of that kind of event.
I never thought Obama was the guy, I always thought Clinton would be the chosen one, until recently with his sudden media fanfare, but it could just be a set up.
I cant put it past them, not like it hasnt happen before, right?

The implication of Obama being assassinated are rather simple imho, kind of a big psyop on the American [spineless] people. They actually expect some kind of "change" to come from Obama's administration as he's a figure head running on that ticket, take him out... and to say the least, that expectation is gone. The American people will roll over, and it will be even easier to implement martial law (assuming that's the plan).

i think its the others out there that may have intentions to plot against him that you dont hear or know about is what they really have to worry about, but thats just it you cant stop something or even know of it until it happens and is to late.
