last time we had generational economic failure (great depression) the technocracy movement got underway, seems like the establishment is dusting off some old tricks for an insecure world caught <span style="color:green">between two ages.

when economies are crashed the 'system' remains unscathed - or conversely profits from it..you are not seeing the 'system' coming down, you are watching the super-rich getting richer by divesting from 'capital' any illusory semblance of value it had in the hands of the common man whilst simultaneously re-forging the chains of debt with heavier links. i would have thought that a technocratic communitarian neo-feudal global state with a cashless control grid as advocated in this documentary was the ultimate in top down centralization of power. Perhaps I'm just not seeing the big picture. :)

I have to agree with nik. The fraud system isn't collapsing of its own volition. It is just being phased out so they can bring in the new and improved with 20% more population control features Fraud System 3000. These guys are, as plasticfan points out, peddling the Fraud System 3500 and we haven't even bought the 3000 model yet.

I think their ideas are good at heart, but the way to accomplish their goals is to decentralize those things and thus remove them from the economy. For example, local individual perma-culture techniques on a mass scale would remove the need for the food economy. That's a way better solution than having food banks at the north and south pole (which is one of the Venus Project's ideas.) Solar power is notoriously suppressed because it would take energy out of the economy. Those are the solutions people should be looking at, ripping the power the bastards away from them, not giving them a better vehicle for control.

The banking system isn't half as fraudulent as many would believe. Certain things, like mortgages, are, and for reasons some wouldn't suspect. We make assumptions/presumptions about what it is and how it works when we are way off base. The real problem is our ignorance of its true nature. Of course, we aren't taught the truth of it, or any other subject, and this serves the Elite just fine. OTOH, many aren't interested in learning the truth.

For example, many people who start investigating the banking system come to the conclusion banks make "money" out of thin air. I used to think so, too. In fact, it is we who are creating the "money". Banks merely convert it. I used to think IRS was a "bad guy." In reality, IRS, can be your best friend. They cannot return your spent commercial energy to you unless you direct them to.

There is more to this, of course, but a good treatment of the subject won't fit into one post.

You seem to have a different perspective on the money issue, I'm not sure exactly what that is though from your brief post. You should start a new thread about it. I'm sure you'll get lots of takers willing to discuss. :D
