I will be interested to see if any verifiable evidence surfaces to verify his story.
I see lots of reports that bunker buster munitions are used but this is the first to claim that any of them were anything other than conventional explosive rounds. “Today’s scientists have substituted mathematics for experiments, and they wander off through equation after equation, and eventually build a structure which has no relation to reality. ” -Nikola Tesla "When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace." -Jimi Hendrix |

DU would be my assessment of a nuclear bomb. Its not nuclear in the classic Mushroom cloud/everybody gets vaporized it the first second etc way.
Depleted Uranium is merely a coating surrounding standard rounds. When the shell makes contact the DU becomes very hot and hits a plasma state. the round also sheds DU inside whatever the target is say, a tank. The remaining radioactive dust ignites. The soldiers in the tank are vaporized inside the vehicle. Overkill in my books as the direct hit from a standard round is more than enough to disable a tank. The real issue apart from the 20% extra destruction is the effects it has on troops and civilians. Bad enough for any troops sitting on this stuff as they trundle around in tanks. We also have the effect on the civilian population. From most reports ive read there has be an increase is infact mortality due to birth defect and also cancer at astronomical proportions. Maybe the fireworks are not the same but the radiation still remains...... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=XbtzpqZOtB8&...feature=related |
