Of someone who is happy to had found another phreaks like him!
One of the most interesting things i had studied were the concept (and practics) of genetic algorithms. Many interesting things become clear to me about the organization of reality. What is sometimes forgot, is that when we talk about the survival of the fittest, we are indirectly talking about the death of the unfitted! I dont believe that is really necessary, in really, without the diversity, its impossible to evolove and survive. when we are looking for solution for some problem with unknown bounds and unknown solution space, the diversity becomes even more important, and the concept of the fittest seems very stupid and limited. What we really have is a comunity of individuals with a set of shared patterns, each of whom is best for the solution of a specific problem. As species evolve (individual patterns do not evolve) the individuals are packed with all the necessary tools (the patterns) to solve the known problems, and also the ability to try new pattern, new compositions of the already porsued elments. And as that new patterns prove to be usefull, they are shared withe the community. So what evolute isnt the individual, but all the community. And the fittest (community) is that who can accesss more easily the solutions alrealdy found, and share more fastly the new found solutions. Thats ok, just showing the faults of the individualism that can be easily mis-inferred without a close look to the evolution process. ;) So what really survive or die if not fitted are the communities. C ya. |
