I just joined recently. An emailed link form a friend got me here. Without wanting to seem evasive, I have worked as a lournalist in many places. Currently in Canada, where I am originally from, but have lived in many countries and 3 continents. I know well how the media distorts information and is guilty of terrible omissions. I've been wary of online groups as there seems to be an equal amount of distortion in the opposite direction of the official sources. Believing the wealth and powerful in the Western World are responsible for everything bad may offer some some small comfort, but it isn't a catch-all answer for everything. That's what Ive concluded after decades of seeing theories and held stories come and go. I prefer to comment on things I've seen, from places I've been to, and from reports first hand. As crabby as I may have come across here, in my first communications, I can see there are some thoughful and insightful people in this forum. I hope to learn and unlearn a lot from you. MF |
