Ratio

Hi there.
Is there a specific ratio I need to maintain?
I don't want to get in trouble for having a bad ratio. I have looked around and have not been able to find any info on whether there is a specific ratio that you are meant to maintain.

Any info would be appreciated.

Welcome to ConCen bassbeats. We like everybody to have as high an upload rate as possible but there is no rate policing.

i have just been banned for a "shit ratio" i am trying to get this sorted out, i don't know why i have been shutdown without even an email.

sounds like "policing" to me.

I'm pretty upset about this and am in the process of try to exonerate myself for my misgiving of untamed thirst for information.

I don't recall people being banned for having a "shit ratio". There might be more to it. How are you able to post here if you are banned?

He was hitting & running my torrents for weeks with no effort to seed anything. He also had a 0.06 ratio.

I have a crap ratio because nobody ever downloads the boring-azz files I host.

I'll try to host more in winter when the computer helps heat my house. Computer heat adds to my air conditioning expense in July and August.

Hit-and-run. Tell me about it. Seems especially bad lately. It doesn't bother me as much once something is well seeded, but when the first 5 people drop within a couple of minutes - some within a couple of seconds - of finishing, it makes me wish there was some sort of ratio enforcement.

And, yes, I know we've been over this, and I understand the reasoning for the current policy, but, man, sometimes...
