Microchipped school uniforms notify parents when kids skip school
Quote:In Vitoria da Conquista, Brazil, 20,000 grade school students have recently started wearing uniforms embedded with GPS chips similar to those used in pet trackers. The chips automatically send parents a text message as soon as their children enter the school grounds, or if their children are late for more than 20 minutes. http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/technology-b...44977.html The revolution is not an apple that falls when it is ripe. RE: Microchipped school uniforms notify parents when kids skip school
$670,000 down the drain!
This will be hacked easily. Kids will remove the chips and carry them around for each other, giving the staff and parents false assurance, which is worse than not knowing where a kid is. But hey - if you make GPS chips it's a great idea...
