Donated but not credited

Hi

I just donated some money, but I haven't been credited for it. I also did it a couple of years ago, and didn't get credited as well back then, as I still have $0 besides my username.. I guess I'm doing something wrong by using my real name to make the donation, not my username, but is it even possible to donate via a username and if yes, how? I have searched the forum, and couldn't find any information on this..

When you donate I check the email address to see if it matches a username. If it does I credit that user, but the credit won't appear if you have your privacy setting to strong. If no username matches the email address I send a reply asking for the username. If there is no reply to that, the donation is not credited.

Everyone who has donated money in the last few days has had a matching username. Could you PM me the email receipt you got from PayPal and I'll look in my inbox archive?

Ahh, thanks! That explains it! I have a different e-mail address in PayPal then on ConCen, so I just changed the ConCen e-mail address to match the PayPal one.. I would appreciate if you could match to the donation one, now that it is changed.

I changed your forum email to match your tracker email and searched for your donation. It turns out I credited user "didge" twice instead of each of you once. Then I sent you a thank you reply assuming I knew your username instead of a thanks-but-who-are-you reply. I have flailed myself 20 times with a cat-o-nine-tails and ate a pound of broken glass as penance.
