In December 2011, a web site called petitionbuzz.com hosts this:
Mission: Mass Produce A Barbie For Cancer Patients, Mattel.

Another petition was created on Facebook titled:
Beautiful and Bald Barbie! Let's see if we can get it made.

Were these real grassroots petitions, or astroturf? I'm guessing astroturf, but apparently Mattel now intends to manufacture one!
