2 (or more) trackers question
How does it work when there are 2 or more trackers? Does it mean my download/upload is registered on both trackers?

RE: 2 (or more) trackers question
The only time bits and bytes of uploads/downloads are put through the abacus is when you are seeding and/or leeching private torrents.

Such as when your Tracker URL =

Code:
http://concen.org/announce?passkey=youRloNgarsEhasHtag

Public Torrents on Public Trackers, Yes even when ConCen public trackers** (udp and/or http announce URLs) are used uploads, downloads ratios are not tallied at all and are irrelevant to the abacus.

**
Code:
http://concen.org:6969/announce
udp://concen.org:6969/announce

RE: 2 (or more) trackers question
If your tracker is http://concen.org/announce = Private = Upload/Download is Credited to Ratio = Registered on ConCen

If the torrent uses any other URLs = Public = Upload/Download is NOT Credited to Ratio = Registered on ConCen

Everything submitted to the Tracker is registered on ConCen and only ConCen.

That said, you may register a torrent on another public tracker, like demonoid.me, by registering it on their public tracker and also register it (by simply uploading it and using the 6969 URLs listed above) on ConCen. There is no tool to automatically register this, although some servers, like cybersage.net, harvest our uploads and register/post them on their tracker.

Open trackers such as http://tracker.openbittorrent.com:80/announce and http://tracker.publicbt.com:80/announce do not need to be registered to work.

Hope that helps amanda, that's the best I can do to explain it.

Thank you, but
1) what if a torrent is ONLY registered on some public tracker and is listed at ConCen? The I am not credited, right?

2) what if a torrent is registered both ways (here and publicly)? Then part of my bytes won't be counted?

You got it! Mostly .. we don't ban for bad ratios though so this is only for cyberstreet cred I suppose.

Any torrent with the concen.org:6969/announce address with or without a public tracker URL is not credited to your ratio.

Any torrent with a concen.org/announce?passkey=YOURlongARSEhashTAG is credited to your account u/d ratio.

It is possible under some circumstances, which would open up a whole new topic for discussion, to have a concen.org/announce?passkey=YOURlongARSEhashTAG URLed torrent with other public and/or open trackers, where you would then get a partial credit at the roll of the dice. Torrents cannot be created this way via the upload torrent system as private torrents are stripped of external trackers now.
