Madonna and the other skanks who performed at the Super Bowl half time show were actually part of an elaborate occult ritual designed to convey the idea that they are gods to be worshiped. What about M.I.A? She's got a few people annoyed with the middle finger, most of all, it would seem, Maggie the "queen" of pop.

Don't get me wrong, after watching the first of the above video's, I can understand how many would be offended by the middle finger and the word "shit". I though, would suggest that this was one of the smallest things to spend that much time looking at. But of course it will be concentrated upon, and the provocative dancing, the symbolism and more will take the back seat to an overt gesture and word.

M.I.A. has clearly changed a fair amount though if she's no qualms about working with the likes of Maggie.

I didn´t watch the half time show and I have no intention to. my noscript flashblocker´s still activated. These people (the entertainment pawns @ the half-time show) do this every year now. It´s as if its a scripted ¨fuck you¨ to the FCC, which personally I don´t mind, but I´d rather not give them the network that airs them the ratings. I didn´t even watch the superbowl when it aired. I did break down and watch it off a torrent w/ no commercials because, hey, I´m a NYer living in MA and we´re rivals like that - sorry I can´t help it.

What really caught me (obviously) wasn´t the symbolism during the 1/2time show, it was the seemingly flagrant desensitization of the largest TV audience (ever year) to the surveillance state by prominent placement of the over-head cameras that look like small drones in many shots during the game. If you watched this bullshit at all and ever spend any time here, I´m sure you noticed. Makes me think that GE (NBC´s parent company) is going to be getting into the drone business in the near future, if they haven´t already. The already promote war porn due to the fact that they love them some military contracts.
