Occupy Movement Updates

RE: Occupy Movement Updates
Just about the only thing Occupy is doing at this point, whether wittingly or not, is helping the powers that be arrest, categorize and catalog all potential dissidents and/or opponents of the NWO power structure.
There's just not enough time in the world to protest all the shit going on in the world that deserves to be protested. And if Occupy was supposed to turn into some new kind of revolution, then it failed miserably.
Just remember, even after the Occupy movement started, the Government proposed and passed more and more laws that only serve to destroy freedom, liberty, and the Constitution/Bill of Rights.
So where to go from here?

What they want...

Conform. Consume. Obey.

I try to do the opposite of that at every opportunity.

RE: Occupy Movement Updates
Well this has been a wakeup call to a sleepy generation. Now many kids have had difficult conversations with parents and teachers. It all adds up. I think many are waiting for some final battle to finish them off. This is. A constant struggle that will continue long after we are dead. All we can do is fight the incursion of the day and fight to free ourselves

RE: Occupy Movement Updates
I don't buy that the occupy movement thinks government is the solution for a second. I'm surprised that some of you think that, because it's obvious to me that anyone who buys it buys the left-right paradigm, and see themselves as right while the movement is left.

The occupy movement is in reality a coalition of people from many ideologies, all with one wish in common - hang the banksters!

After the new funding from the corporate foundations, I was sure Occupy would spark up for the nice weather.

In Austin they do nothing notable. Their forum is full of agents.

General Assemblies (Ongoing): In the past year, Occupy Edmonton has hosted over 100 General Assemblies for planning local activism, in which all people and groups are welcome, and there are no membership fees. They are held every Tuesday at 6:30 PM, and every Saturday at 2:00 PM (unless otherwise noted) at the Grant Macewan City Center cafeteria, 106 St building. Join us!

Fun Math: 42 days in a park + 62 large actions throughout the year + 100 general assemblies + roughly 30 other actions = 234 actions in the past year.
365 days in a year/234 actions a year = 1 action per every 1.6 days. Neat!

naah.. they wouldn't allow mass-protests durring their favorite time for political theater... it might distract newscasters from hiding actual agendas subconsciously backed.with already-scripted bogus propaganda schemes.

They couldn't have that.
