Tackling Iran's heroin habit
Tackling Iran's heroin habit

Quote:The number of heroin addicts increased after the revolution... we never had that many junkies before

Mohammad, former drug addict

Iran faces up to its most lethal threat - drugs
One in 17 people are addicted,

Quote:Iran has the highest rate of heroin and opium addiction per head of population in the world, according to the UN: one in 17 is a regular user and 20% of the Iranian population aged 15-60 is involved in drug abuse
There are an estimated 500,000 drug dealers in Iran, circulating narcotics with an estimated street value of £1.7bn to £2.83bn
Drug abuse is the main factor behind 60% of divorces in Iran, according to a survey

Official government figures estimate that illegal drugs cost the Iranian economy £630m in 2004

More than 3,200 Iranian law enforcers have been killed in clashes with drug traffickers since 1979. In 2003, officers seized 220 tonnes of drugs, up 54% on the previous year.

FAIL!

Yeah? So what?

And how does one idiot Iranian reporter who can't speak English well enough to convey the difference between crack and heroin disprove Iran's MASSIVE heroin and opium problem? Icon_biggrin

He 'failed,' not me, smart guy. His English failed. I'm sure he's not dumb enough to think crack comes from heroin.

I would have 'failed' if I only posted that link and not the two others from the BBC & Guardian for your edification.

Find a mistake or inability to speak proper English half-as-retarded in the Guardian and BBC reports and then I'll admit I 'failed' but not until then.

Here's another IRANIAN video so make sure you make some allowances for their somewhat fucked up English while the pictures tell the story:

Islamic Heroin Republic!

And by the way, in case anyone is wondering, I didn't start this thread, Mr. Yeti did using his administrative wand. This is the same post I had on the Ahmedinejad at the UN thread. http://concen.org/forum/showthread.php?tid=42691

The point was that anyone who thinks Ahmedinejad, the president of this pathetic mess of a country called Iran that he's helped make as miserable as possible, is a real NWO-fighter rather than a controlled opposition stooge is to be pitied as one naive sucker. The only authentic opposition is one that doesn't abuse the living fuck out of its own people in the name of fighting outside tyranny and exploitation.

And by they way, Iran was a great place to live under the Shah, installed CIA puppet or not. Just ask any Iranian over 40 living in the US or Europe. He was deposed for biting the hand that fed and no other reason.

Show me where I said that, then you can whine like a little bitch. Until then, STFU. You're embarrassing yourself, yet again.

I'm already quite sick of you polluting this place with your bullshit. Keep giving me lip and you're gone.

Somebody was dumb enough to call crack a form of heroin twice in that short piece. I don't give a fuck who it was. It destroyed the credibility of the message, much like you do on a regular basis.

Excuse me? Why are you lying? Are you actually accusing me of starting this thread and making it look like you did? You better provide some evidence for that very serious allegation, you fucking punk.

I'm not letting this one go. You now have 4 choices:
  1. Prove your outrageous accusation is true.
  2. Retract your outrageous accusation and apologize.
  3. Ignore my request.
  4. Dig yourself even deeper into the shit.
The last 2 choices get you banned.

So when you're not polluting the place with your no-planer bullshit, you're shitting on Iran. Are the neocons paying you to do their work for them, or not? Either way, you're their bitch.

I don't know much about Iran, but I can spot irrelevant bullshit when I see it. You reek of it.

Yeti, yeti, yeti ! Why do you hate me so much when all I've done here is spread some love?

Since you put it that way, I retract my 'outrageous accusation' and apologize.

Maybe I was stoned and posted it as a thread instead of where it properly belonged on 'the Ahmedinejad at the UN' thread. I put a version of it back there just now. No need to blow a gasket over it.

Cheer up Eatdrink007 and enjoy this somewhat corny video (that is if you're at all interested in the topic):

RE: Tackling Iran's heroin habit
I split this thread, the post had nothing to do with the topic of the other thread. The only notable link was the fact that it was Iran. Should be merge all USA threads? Exactly.

So I'd suggest not having this posted in two places, as it has nothing to do with Ahmedinejad's UN speech.

In future, try knowing the truth before throwing accusations at yeti, or others for that matter.
