keeping warm
can any one help me ?whats the best way to make a rabbit fir hat got a rabbit but it has alopecia and I think my head my get cold. just wondering if any one knows if I can buy a wig for it???????????:-)

Be prepared... learn how to kill/trap animals... skin/field dress them... and how to treat the pelts. There's PLENTY of yt vids on this! I'm a novice myself... only killed (i ate it) 1 rabbit so far... but I've watched enuf vids on field dressing elk/deer/moose etc to know I wont be in over my head when the time comes. |

If you don't feel like using the brains to tan the pelts. The first few rinses of Acorn mash (first steps in acorn flour) contain tannic acid. My two cents for using pelts.
