Greetings!
Hello everyone,

I would like to thank you all for the amount of great information over the years, very much appreciated. I have been viewing these forums anonymously for several years, and garnered a great respect for the quality of information I can gather here. I only now join as I have found a peace with where I am and what I can do with my life.

A touch about myself:

Growing up in bad social conditions that lead me to leave my parents in my mid teens, I went out to learn life the hard way, but always wondered why the heck is the world so messed up! There has to be a reason, it cant all be random. A roommate of mine in university pointed me to your site about what 5 years ago or so? And the stuff I read blew my mind. Since then I have researched everything that has come about to great extent and learned a great many things. I knew there needed to be change. Real change, and soon, in my lifetime or else. How to act!? what to do about it all!

Now I act, I live and breath the change I want. I am part of an ecovillage that is getting off the grid slowly but surely. I am one of the main Organic farmers for the group to ensure food survival, as well as running a CSA box program for the neighboring cities, and running a farmers market for other farmers in my closest city. I educate those around me whenever possible on anything they are interested in. I hold public screenings of important documentaries, and now am effecting change in my regions agribusiness through the opening up of information on GMO's and poison foods, and succeeding at it.

I would like to become an active member of these forums now, and help any way I can. Thank you for everything so far and here's to a positive future for this planet.

Wow ! Clap

Nice to hear from such a long time lurker! I'm glad that you have benefited from the information you have come across here also. That's great!

Sounds like you've been busy within your local community and re-educating the masses. I'd love to eventually see photos of the organic agri-ecovillage work your doing.

Thanks for the wonderful introduction, and best wishes with all that your doing! Ok

That's the ticket!

Tell us more. Have you considered hooking up with a trucking company to make this proactive lifestyle an even bigger and more widespread example of leadership?

Super. Bring it on. That's what it's here for and what it's all about.

RE: Greetings!
So great to meet you Tosayl, especially as you are one of the (until now) silent majority as we call you Wink Seriously though, it's really good to hear from a user who has not only been here for a long time silently, but in their lives are far from silent on the issues you have mentioned.

Many are introduced to this site while at University, which is great, as most are ready and willing to learn, yet are mature enough to not get bogged down by the endless drama of online discussion.

Do let us know more, as FastTadpole said, as it would be great to hear how users are actively able to use information gathered in places such as concen and apply it to their own lives daily.

Again, great to meet you, and we hope to be hearing more from you in the near future.
