Facebook change exposes users’ contact details
Quote:Late on Friday evening, Facebook made the tweak to its developer terms, via its blog, saying: “We are now making a user’s address and mobile phone number accessible [to developers]," prompting security experts to warn people to remove their personal contact details from the site immediately. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/fa...tails.html The revolution is not an apple that falls when it is ripe. RE: Facebook change exposes users’ contact details
So, how to get on Facebook without being "on" Facebook? A few days ago I did just that. Why would anyone put any personal contact info on it? Unless it goes to a free voice-mail service with a spam filter.
....and some try to claim "facebook isn't about commerce". yea, just like politicians aren't after your vote and elephants really fly, right? Another perfect example of why FUDD ourselves? Does a peaceful inhabitant find their identity in a Name, their contact details, their facebook page? How can they when these are all used against us to steal our energy (wealth), why wish that on anyone else? Without the economic commercial agenda, would Facebook even exist in its present form - i.e. people concerned about their personal details being shared with anyone? * What if the solution is simple & free?: http://www.youtube.com/nv3p * Choose Freedom & Be the Change: http://concen.org/forum/showthread.php?tid=36698 |
