3 Very Large Objects In Space Flying To Earth

SETI Astrophysicist Craig Kasnov has announced the approach to the Earth of 3 very large, very fast moving objects. The length of the "flying saucers" is in the range of tens of kilometers. Landing, according to calculations of scientists, should be in mid-December 2012. Date coincides with the end of the Mayan calendar.



A few very large objects rapidly approaching the Earth - says SETI astrophysicist Craig Kasnov. Don’t take his word for it you can check it out for yourself. He recommends to go to the site http://www.sky-map.org/ and enter the coordinates of the giant UFO:

19 25 12 -89 46 03 - the first large object
16 19 35 -88 43 10 - a cylindrical object
02 26 39 -89 43 13 - the object as a circle

The project participants are assured that the facilities are absolutely real, and the American space agency NASA is trying to conceal important information.

None of these objects can be seen from the northern hemisphere. The second set of numbers in each line tells us that the "object" or "objects" is/are coming in from very deep in the southern hemisphere sky.

In any case, the only thing we can do now - wait for it - says Kasnov. - Soon celestial objects will be visible in a good telescope.

Funny you should mention that - my search page has had a link to SOHO. I saw the waxing and waning of sunspots over this decade every day as I used my search page, but I digress...

The SOHO pic on my search page is updated frequently. Normally there is a crisp, unpixilated image. Sometimes you get thin bands of crap, sometimes you get a stock image saying "CCD bakeout", but this is the worst ever...

Craig Kasnov was in the conversation that ultimately resulted in SETI@home, but he was not the one who ran with the concept and there's no indication that he's a real astrophysicist at all. While the actual scientists got their name on the paper describing SETI@home, his name was not one of the authors:

Furthermore, the "spaceships" in question are film emulsion scratches and problems on photographic plates that were taken some 20 years ago. These images have since been used to construct stitched mosaics in secondary sources such as google sky and others. The problems only occur in single plates for a given set of coordinates, not in the other plates for the same coordinates. Each plate corresponded to a specific color of light, that's how the color images were made for google sky and others, so a problem specific to one plate shows up as a vivid colored object in google sky. A real object, even one with a vivid color, would show up in multiple plates as it will reflect some degree of light in the other colors. Only a line emission would be completely specific to one color, in which case it would be some strange mono-element nebula, not a physical object.

My name is Craig Kasnoff. And I was the one who 'co-concieved' the idea for SETI@HOME with David Gedye.

And no, I am not an astrophysicist.

If this discussion is inferring that I, Craig Kasnoff, (and not Craig Kasnov) have made an announcement regarding 'large rapidly approaching Earth', then that is just plain false.

I have not been involved in any announcement of that kind at all.

However, if there is a 'Craig Kasnov' who is a 'SETI astrophysicist', then you will all have to take that up with him.

My current work focuses on the issue of Endangered Species ( [link to http://www.Bagheera.com] / [link to TigersinCrisis.com).]

The issue of endangered species was one of the driving considerations in my contribution to the concept of SETI@HOME.

To me, SETI@HOME was not only a way to confirm there was possibly 'life' on other planets, but it was also a way to confirm there weren't any South China Tigers, Giant Pandas, or Komodo Dragons anywhere else but on Earth.

And it was -and still is- my belief that when an animal is forced into extinction, that animal is not just lost to Earth, but is lost to the entire Universe.

And that is tragic.

Anyway, this post may, or may not have, made any contribution to the discussions of 'objects flying towards Earth'. But I hope it clears up any question regarding my involvement this announcement.
