 From childhood in Chicago we knew the danger would always come from within. After all, we were immigrants and a land this powerful could never be overcome from without. In early public school classes near the 7th or 8th grade we would be required to read the book, "All About Communism." Interestingly enough, it was thought that if masses of unwashed hordes be given welfare, then the internal threat of communism was at bay. This was considering only the Eastern Front. Long before this period the concern that we are now dealing with was considered.
