A friend of mine was telling me about this doctor nearby that basically can see your energy through a doll, and then administers specific amino acids and vitamins your body lacks in, just enough for your body to soak up. Then she told me that the doc gets like 5 people holding hands to touch the doll, and it starts talking. Is this possible? I'm thinking of making my own doll, and then focusing my energy to see if it works but something tells me it won't. I can't find any info on this anywhere. Anyone hear about this?

Maybe it's like a battery operated doll, minus the battery, and then focus energy. But still, chi =\= electricity.

Sounds like a bunch of bullshit. Can they "see" what your 'lacking" without you there - with only the doll representing you? Can you get a list of what "vitamins and amino acids" they're using?

What leads you to believe there's any validity whatsoever? do they advertise? do they have an online presence?

Qigong's a little different than diagnosing through puppetry. This sounds more like a Barnum's sucker circus act than a serious tradition. Anything's possible, but I'm highly skeptical.

Animating the doll would take a very powerful priestess, and if she is not older then say 40, may look younger, part of the gift! I'd say it's a fraud.
