![]() This is exceedingly plausible. There has to be MORE heat at the cathode than that created by all those roiling amperes of current. I suspect that one of the limitations is the rate of DESTRUCTION of the cathode. There also HAS to be production of HELIUM in considerable quantities. If both these take place then consider our planet FRIED...
