6 min vid on computerized high speed trading ... and its illegal uses
Very interesting six minute video on computerized high speed security trading ...

... and its uses for fraudulent trading.

Karl Denninger posted this on YouTube at this link.

Karl Denninger comments that this type of market manipulation was the cause of the recent market "flash crash" ...

... and that concerning the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission), "there are no cops on the beat."

Denninger further comments: "It's unlawful to enter an order into a securities market for the purpose of attempting to manipulate the price - that is, to express other than a genuine intent to buy or sell.

It happens every day. But tonight, it's especially blatant, so I captured it and present it here for you."

RE: 6 min vid on computerized high speed trading ... and its illegal uses
Karl Denninger's six minute video is now posted on the tracker as a "video clip" under the title: Witness Market Manipulation on Display.

Thanks to ryba777 for posting this informative video!! Smile

As ryba777 comments on the tracker:

[beginning of quote--]

Here you can see live and online how the market is being manipulated.

Max Keiser had developed software to prevent automatic manipulation of online trade by computers, but the bad guys took that software, inverted it, and now use it to manipulate the markets even more.

As a single individual investor you don't stand a chance against these wicked methods.

As you know, money is power, and such types of manipulation generate enormous amounts of money.

This type of conspiracy may not look very impressive, but its financial outcome is highly significant.

The whole idea behind the FED is the fact, that those determining interest rates have knowledge about the future.

They use that knowledge to make enormous amounts of money.

He who makes the future, can foresee the future. Future information has an enormous value if you're an investor.

You can sell before everybody else will sell, and therefore sell at a higher price. You can buy before everybody else will buy, and therefore buy at a lower price.

Any form of cartel or intervention by the state leads to insider trading, and therefore a truly free market only is a fair market.

Any form of monopoly leads to imbalance and distortion.
