Holocaust denier faces jail in Australia

Frederick Toben, an Australian 'revisionist historian', has been sentenced to three months in jail after publishing offensive material about Jews and the Holocaust on his website.

Toben, 65, had been banned in 2002 from circulating anti-Semitic material on the website of the Adelaide Institute and had promised to abide by the order.

But a civil case brought by Jeremy Jones, former president of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry, found Toben had breached the order 24 out of an alleged 28 times.

The material he had published claimed that the Holocaust never happened and implied that Jewish people who challenged Holocaust deniers were of "limited intelligence".

Toben, who was given 14 days to appeal against the sentence, has said he has no regrets and was ready to be jailed.

"I've mentally prepared myself to go inside for a few weeks or months," he told the news website Adelaidenow before the hearing.

"If you believe in something and you want to have that freedom to express your opinions then you should be prepared for sacrifices," he said.

However, Toben's lawyer has indicated he would seek to have his client serve the sentence under house arrest.

Toben was arrested in Britain in October last year under a European Union arrest warrant issued by Germany, but a bid to extradite him to answer charges of Holocaust denial failed.

He faces charges in Germany of publishing material on the internet "of an anti-Semitic and/or revisionist nature" which denies, approves of, or plays down the Holocaust.

Holocaust denial is a crime in Germany and offenders can face up to five years in jail.

For myself I demand free-speech, so how could I want to refuse it to anybody else?

Yes, the whole idea of heresy stinks doesn't it, one man's heresy is another man's doctrine or whatever..

To Holocaustians of course, any questioning of the Big H is regarded as heresy, even though they have never even registered as a religion..

Nonetheless it bears all the hallmarks of a religion for goy invented by Zionists.

Although this figure was deliberately chosen long before the 'event' it would seem.

And besides, there are too many other unanswered questions?

And too much obvious shenanigens going on viz a vis the persecution of those who ask those questions.

Surely only those afraid of the truth are afraid of questions?

On the subject of numbers, the best estimate so far seems to be maybe around the one and a half million mark..

Mmm... that sounds about right from what I've seen of this debate so far..

The strangest thing to me though is that the "6 Million" believers don't delight to learn that actually it was less of their buddies that suffered and died than they'd previously thought, you'd think it would be cause for celebration in fact.. you'd think they'd be thinking things like, 'hey, maybe Uncle Jo didn't end there after all, maybe he slipped out and made it to Australia or something'.

But then we'd be looking into a pretty dark psychology here.. something along the lines of being addicted to morose and melancholy tendencies, and of course paranoid belief in per sé victimhood.

Some people it seems, just don't want to be cheered up.:drunk:

well i was thinking about hate speech.

so the jews don't like people saying bad things about them, so they have setup these organisations that will hunt you down and complain or even get the law involved if you speak negatively about them. no other ethnic group or class or group of people based on any other factor realy does this in a pro active manner.

so i can't say that i hate the russians because they smell or that i hate the spanish because of their music. why is it that we just can't just hate jews for being jewish ?

they have even gone as far as creating a word for jew hate, it is not jew hate it is anti semitism. they have created an ism for it. i mean the jews are realy the only religion that claim to be a race on its own, but yet some call themselves white. i would say they are more arab than white. they also do not have a country. oh wait they have created one. but what i mean is they don't have a true nationalistic basis to their argument. it is like christians complaining about to many people talking negatively about them.

It's a label to dis' people off with as far as I can see Kevlar.. "hate-speaker", it's like saying 'conspiracy theorist' at somebody, once someone's gone mainstream with a note like that pinned on their back, they're forever ignored by Fred Bloggs and Jane Doe.

People should be able to hate whatever they like as far I'm concerned, but does anyone really hate Jews just for being Jewish? I thought it was what they did /do that would make most people hate them? If one is inclined so of course, because for myself I cannot hate people, although I certainly do hate those things they do /did.. the wrong things.
