Taiwan Earthquake 6.4 Magnitude
So, first Haiti, then the 8.8 in Chile, closely followed by a 6.4 in Taiwan.
![]() Taiwan Earthquake 6.4 Magnitude A 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck Taiwan a few hours ago. The number of injured so far is listed at 64. The Taiwan earthquake struck the southern portion of the country, disrupting communications and igniting at least one major fire. The Taiwan earthquake is the biggest earthquake to hit that region in a century. The epicenter of the Taiwan earthquake was near the town of Jiashian, which was hit hard by last year's typhoon. While not geographically linked to the massive earthquake in Chili last week, the Taiwan earthquake's intensity was very rare for the region. Thus far there have been no reported deaths associated with the Taiwan earthquake. http://news.gather.com/viewArticle.actio...4978083160
