Greed is Not the Problem
The problem is that we don't like each other very much. From the day we started to meet other people we realized that there are some people that we like more than others. Some people are easier to be with than others.

The easiest way to do to run away from these people is to make money and leave them behind. It's their fault that the world isn't perfect.

We don't seem to find any news of ways to solve the problems we see in others.

Some of us decide to run away by not owning more than one television. They decide to get secure jobs but aren't very interested in what they have to learn and do. They are doctors, psychologists, and teachers.

They don't seem to like people very much, but survive by being authority figures in simple jobs. They aren't fired for not doing their best. They talk to their clients and give them pills and lessons approved by an authority which they blame if something goes wrong. They laugh at those who try better solutions and get angry when they succeed.

They do this because they are cynical, not because they are greedy.

It also links down to philosophy. Why do we need authoritative figures in society? Why does every country need the military to protect against others? You are right it is our differences. I think with love we can get along but there is always pride that keeps us from achieving it (Israel ahmm).

RE: Greed is Not the Problem
Love is achieved by learning more about ourselves and each other. Understanding why we react the way we do. And I really want to get my consciousness back. I really want to be able to understand my actions rather than see myself act in strange ways due to my current semi-conscious state of being (genetic manipulation).

Socialists and hippies talk about loving each other but love doesn't save the day when love is administered in the wrong way. You'll notice that hippies become very angry when you are not satisfied with their love. Some parents get angry if their offspring don't like what they can give.

The main character in the movie "Into the Wild" wants understanding, or truth as he calls it, rather than love.

Into the Wild is pretty good. Jeremiah Johnson also.
