the SRI "council of nine" apsect and Gene Rodenberry's familiarity with the group are also interesting curios to the star trek story too.
Not least in that it was Andrej Puharich that originally brought Uri Geller out of Israel to the international stage through the SRI. and those plucky chevrons as well Both Scotty and McCoy can be seen to give each other "secret" Scottish rite signals in the original shows too .. ![]() the last bit is not true.. |
