RE: Good to be back on the Fourm
I read your post to my mom this morning and she started crying. Blush Doctors have told her she is suffering from the same illness.... but do not ever identify causes or ways to correct the illness. She still functions with both of her jobs, but wonders how long she will last.

Good luck with the new diet your working on daters. I hope it continues to help you recover from the symptoms your having. It would be great if you update us on your progress in the future.

I will definitely be cracking the whip with my mothers diet especially through the spring and summer, with the hopes that she will be relieved of the pains she has as well.

Thanks for telling us what's been going on, and best wishes with your recovery. (sincere face)

A good start will be is checking out Gary Null Stuff
His website http://www.garynull.com

Go directly to Google Video here http://video.google.com it finds videos from all the other video sites and search Gary Null and look for "Gary Null - How To Supercharge Your Immune System" on that page. uses http://keepvid.com to download off youtube.

Go here and look over the page very well http://www.rawfor30days.com/index4.html

Also check out Raw for 30 days. We do have the two DVD set @ the tracker site

We have disk 2 on the tracker but I can't find it. disk 2 is a must have

Here's an e-mail from one of my PC customers
Quote:Dear Chuck,

Mary told me that you suffer from peripheral neuropathy?
So do I, since 1987.

Whatever convincing argument your doc makes for a drug called Tolrestat, avoid it !
It ran havoc on my liver and I pay for it now big time, 2 decades later

Elavil is midly effective , but it can lead to painful, permanent urinary retention, I learnt that too, but too late,

Neurontin (Garapentin) is safer, it does not alter kidneys or liver functions, but not devoid of risks either.

You cannot get off Neurontin, like, run out on your prescription, without risking serious side neurological effects, including seizure.

Neurontin is what I take, 300 Mg 3 times a day, which is a median dose that you doctor can up to 1200 Mg if it does not procide the desire effect.

A Magnesium supplement will decrease the leg cramps if you take it at night.

I also take valerian root at night to help relax the muscles enough so that the cramps do not wake me up as often
Vitamin E in the morning helps delay the nerves deterioration, but it is a fat soluble vitamin, never exceed recommended daily dosage.

Another trick that helps me, recommended by my doc, who is a HIV doctor, and a naturopathist as well, is to fill socks with rice, make a knot, and microwave them.
The rice stays warm in the socks for a long time, and at night I place them where my legs hurt, and it decreases some of the pain. enough to make me sleep, most days

One thing to never eat if on Neurontin : grapefruit, EVEN IN ExTRACT OR JUICE, OR PERFUME. NOTHING GRAFEFRUIT. Horrendous side effects, similar to drinking alcohol while on Antabuse.

On "good days" I can amb ulate several blocks.
on less good days, I cancel everything, and just bitch and moan in bed, and floss my attendant last nerve. Hell, somnone has to pay for it !

Avoid WATER too cold or too hot on your legs, it can damage weak blood vessels.
Try to wear thick, soft socks, preferably white

Meditation before I sleep, emptying the mind totally, for at least 20 minutes.
When the pain is still too great, I isolate the feelings in my feet, then angles, calves, going up mentally after each full sensation, and the pain tend to move up with it.
By ther time I usually reach my face with the pain I collected from other parts, , I am asleep. at least for a couple of hours.
If the pain wakes me up, I ask Remigio to masage my legs and back, with a muscle rub oinment, Vaporub is fine, on the cramp, walk a bit, then give another try at bed rest,

If I get mad, or anxious, it hurts much more.
If I empty my mind, I dont always sleep but somewhat some rest.

If you have a chance to take baths with epsom salts and lavenber extract, it reduces temporary leg and stomach edema, and the stinging/itching. but not too hot not to damage already poor vascularization.

Put a greasy lotion on your feet, lavishly, berfore putting on socks, it reduces the crack and shaffing on the soles.

Buenas Noches
and remember. DA Doktah mesha is here !
