Seen a UFO? Don't call the MoD

An MoD statement on the matter is a little more expansive. It says: "The MoD has no opinion on the existence or otherwise of extra-terrestrial life. However, in over 50 years, no UFO report has revealed any evidence of a potential threat to the United Kingdom."

Nick Pope who ran the UFO project in early 1990s said the decision to scrap it was "outrageous". Speaking to the Sun, which broke the story, he said: "We're leaving ourselves wide open to terrorist attack."

The last major UFO scare in Britain earlier this year involved claims that aliens had destroyed windturbines in Lincolnshire, after sightings of "massive balls of light". But then a "local blogger for a small newspaper group" revealed that her family had hosted a fireworks party in the area.

At the time Pope said: "Even if there is a terrestrial explanation in this case, that won't be the end of our fascination with UFOs."

The same could be said for the scrapping of the UFO project. Just don't call the MoD.

The guardian is full of UFO stories.
We don't get excited.
One was sighted going toward Albuquerque anything happen.
Not a word.

What are people making of the decision to close the hotline?

Maybe this is an attempt to disregard it from media spotlight, maybe they know a host of future sightings are likely to be witnessed and want to minimise the effect as much as possible.

I don't buy the 'cost cutting' excuse, although I'm uneducated on the matter my instinct suggests they are surpressing issues and feeding us disinformation. Without "official" analysis, sightings will be disregarded by the majority unfortunately.

The MoD is not interested.
The UK is forced to have these saucer flights.
The US acquired all the technology after WWI because the
US had the technology all along.
That's the whole story.
The saucer didn't not all come out of Germany even though
the US was clued in way before the end of the WAR.
Thats why the UK or Russia never got the NWO technology
of carbon-less energy and the ether pressure wave to
lift of saucers and propel them.
The MoD must know by now or are just taking blind orders
from the Illuminati.
Tell the people what I just said, they will understand.
