Pesticide Spraying Health Risks

Here is some research from the University of Florida Medical Library regarding the environmental and public health effects found to occur from exposure to some mosquito control pesticides. It has been obtained in relation to Brevard County in Florida in which a Mosquito Control Program has been in operation involving the aerial spraying of Dibrom which contains Dichlorvos and Trichlorfon.

Recently, over 300 people in the Tampa, Florida area have filed a class-action lawsuit against parties involved in the aerial pesticide applications in that area.

This lawsuit is one of many in recent history where communities have become concerned in regards to aerial spraying in relation to various pesticides like Dibrom and Malathion.
