Hack A Diebold Voting Machine.

Quote:It's an old adage in politics that you need truckloads of money to get elected.
Apparently you can now buy an election for what you'd spend in a few days on cups of coffee.
Black Box Voting found that given $12 in tools, four minutes, and a little determination,
you can access a Diebold voting machine's memory card, remove and replace it without a trace. This new development really isn't all that surprising given that it's been shown
that these machines can be hacked in more than one way, even by monkeys.
Concerned citizens, just switch to absentee paper ballots from now on --
it may be low-tech, but it's a hell of a lot more secure going the "old-fashioned" way.

don't know if it's been posted before, but ..damm. <_<

&I've come to the conclusion, after having spent many years in politics, is that our presidential elections turn out to be more of a charade than anything else, and I think that is true today. It is a charade,& - Ron Paul, Sept 2008.

The crisis of modern democracy is a profound one. Free elections, a free press and an independent judiciary mean little when the free market has reduced them to commodities available on sale to the highest bidder.

The era of manufacturing consent has given way to the era of manufacturing news. Soon media newsrooms will drop the pretense, and start hiring theater directors instead of journalists.

The structure of capitalism is flawed. The motor that powers it cannot but vastly increase the disparity between the poor and the rich globally and within countries as well. Parecon is a brave argument for replacing that flawed machine and offers a much needed -- more equitable, democratic, participatory -- alternative economic vision.

[The choice between John Kerry and George Bush] is not a real choice. It's an apparent choice. Like choosing a brand of detergent. Whether you buy Ivory Snow or Tide, they're both owned by Proctor & Gamble.

Dr. Hermann Oberth who pioneered rocket design for the German Reich during World War II and later advanced rocket technology for the American manned space launches, cryptically stated: "We cannot take the credit for our record advancement in certain scientific fields alone; we have been helped."

When asked by whom, he replied: "The people of other worlds."

You would have to be a MONKEY anway to believe that voting for somebody is going to make any fucking diffrence. The ELITE run the show anyway. Look at 911, millions know that something is wrong but so far nothing major has been done about it. Those fucking voting machines are bullshit little toys for us to waste our time with. Cadidates for Presidents are nothing more than Capitalist's looking for their turn to get the connections to make more capital for their groups. With enough money and backing any dick brain can get into office. Because they have the power to use the media to sell themselves. And they have the power to fuck over their competitor. Its nothing more than a higher form of lobbying.

In the 60's, people took acid to make the world weird. Now the world is weird and people take Prozac to make it normal.

As a reputed atheist, the reverential nature of his film was surprising, but Pasolini himself said &If you know that I am an unbeliever, then you know me better than I do myself. I may be an unbeliever, but I am an unbeliever who has a nostalgia for a belief.&
