Good thing or Bad Thing ?

Okay we're not Big Brother here @ ConCen, even though we do have many watchers:)
though I thought to myself, that when people register here, the only real way of registering should be
making one short tiny post in our introduction forum to complete their registration altogether
in a round about way its a good thing because its encouraging the member to come post to the forum
straight away and get stuck in, feel at home and put the feet up you know ?:)Just make a hello, and after that its up to you!
This also has many good benefits for the team of concen as doing it this way would certainly knock out a lot of spam
right away. Only earlier I had to ban someone for mocking 'rsol' on the forum and rsol you probably didnt even realise that lol
but the dude was taking the piss and basically mocking your posts, copying them but at the same time promoting
his super spammy spam links in his signature...... anyhow.. you cant say I dont look out for you all because I do:P:)
I have asked this to all members and not in our admin forum, what do you think of this idea ?
Is it draconian ? Is it alex jones ( Right , stop there and fuckoff lol ) ... Let me know please

Its sounds good to me, but there's a lot of people that just view over the forum and never post. I think it'll hurt those types mostly.
