Very true. Lot's of these mind controlled shooters end up shooting themselves and basically that's it--end of story. The mainstream news just communicates he was a "lone nutter" with a grudge and you never hear about the story again. Either that, or later it comes out they were on Prozac/Paxil/Zoloft--but it's only a footnote soon to be forgotten.

In his police interview he talks about the voices he can hear talking and he wants those doing the interview to kill him, he simply wants to die. He was tackled to the ground during the incident before he could turn the gun on himself and thus he is one of the rare survivors of this kind of incident. Kinkel was also on prescribed psychoactive medication.

Truth be told, in many of these situations (I am not saying all by any means) the perpetrator is also a victim. The technology and techniques used in manipulating minds is extremely effective and the subject can be induced to do almost anything notwithstanding propaganda which suggests otherwise.

This one hit me hard emotionally.

My Ancestry on both sides is Anabaptist. The stories of persecution by fuedal lords of Europe, as described in "Martyrs Mirror" is known by me. The Anabaptists refusing to fight in their futile, fuedal wars, their exodus from the old world to new, the family histories that I heard of hardship pioneering, all create a powerful gestalt in my mind. So when I hear of a community who have essentially remained unensnared by "the English", getting this kind of abuse, it just hits close to home. Its not more worse than the lives of the Iraqi's or Palestinians, just for me it creates deep feelings of grief and sadness.

Some of the strong emotions could also have to do w/ the fact that my Mennonite Grandma died last week.

Add to that the nature of the way it was done, separating the girls, binding them, blindfolding them, and executing them, is overwhelmingly brutal.

I share in well expressed skepticism about the "random lone nut", the furtherance of gun legislation trends, and mind control, pharma, etc. I also tend to think it was the kind of thing that those who are in control would and could easily accomplish, and the Amish's relative freedom from their control grid as well as symbolic innocence make them perfect targets. Impossible to prove, but for now I just feel the pain of the mothers and fathers of that community.

Gunman enters school, opens fire,
Ultimately is shot dead by a student who brought a gun to school

how would they spin that one?

@ BAH: They would charge the kid with 2nd degree muder, discharging a fire arm in a public place, brandishing a firearm in a public place, ect....

I'd also like to add, that this nut case could have done the exact same thing with one of those big kitchen knives....

Careful... follow that train of thought and the next thing you know knives will be banned... then learning any sort of martial arts for self defense will follow... they WILL ban knowledge eventually!

They have done it to certain segments of society in the past, its nothing new really.
