Well, I guess they need to pull the rabbit out of the hat to stop the Democratics bagging this one. Alas, if the Democrats made it, the first thing on the agenda should be to nuke all the laws Bush hammered through. |

Besides those numbers, there is also the factor that huge numbers of Republicans are planning on NOT voting... out of disgust. So, the election fraud this time should be massively obvious.
Still, I don't know that the Dems are going to somehow magically make everything right... I'd like to see instant impeachment hearings as well as massive investigations into corruption... the prob is that if they do too much investigating they'll turn up themselves as perpetrators too and they surely don't want that. Also they won't have the numbers to override vetos so they will really mostly be limited to subpoena powers. I find it likely considering his past track record that Bush would simply crumple up congressional subpoenas and throw them away without complying. The pres after all has both law enforcement and the military to back his play... congress and the supremes don't have anyone to back what they do so their power is all on paper. It should be interesting in any case. I think it likely that this election will lead to martial law, but then again perhaps the sheep will simply be so apathetic about it that they do nothing to trigger that and just sit at home watching american idol. |

Wouldnt this be the best opprotunity to try to get progressives in there?

Yes... but how likely is that?
Also, Pelosi has now announced that there is no way they will impeach if/after they take congress. That makes me sad and basically points out the fact that the left-right are the same and one big bunch of criminals. :( |

This is all part of the plan. The democrats are not going to save you and if you think so then you're really not awake. It should be pretty evident when you see how many of them right now are in support of the president and stand behind the "war on terror", they just have disagreements on the methods they would employ but the end result would be the same. When they take control many of the people who had begun to wake up will go back to sleep again because they really do not see the big picture.

Poll Puts Democrats Far Ahead In Congress
Hello everyone.:)
IMHO, ozlo is entirely correct. Anyone thinking that the Democrats winning big in the upcoming election will change anything is naive. Also, too many voters view elections like a football game where they just want to see their "team" win disregarding what their team actually does. Pelosi's comment on impeachment shows the complicity of the DNC in what is increasingly becoming a dire emergency for those who value the founding principals of the nation. This is nothing new and has been an ongoing problem for a VERY long time. The elite have their front men to take the heat and just swap them out for a fresh batch of a different flavor when the old ones start getting overcooked. I really wish that more people would vote third-party, on both sides (conservative and liberal), to show the political system to be the scam that it is. The chances of a third party becoming significant is virtually impossible as long as the DNC and RNC control the election processes in every state. |
